Truffula Tree has two distinct family trees behind its colorful name.

Origin 1: Humboldt Seed Company combines its Cookie Monster F3 line with Kandy Kush and Humboldt OG. The breeding goal was bigger colas while preserving the purple coloring and sweetness of its Cookies stock. Humboldt’s own Cookie Monster selection matters here; the name also appears on unrelated genetics.

Origin 2: Secret Society Seed Co crosses Romberry with Tony Clifton. This is a separate hybrid with comparatively little published information about its flavor, appearance, or effects. Humboldt’s purple-and-orange profile shouldn’t automatically follow it onto the menu.

Humboldt’s version makes its strongest introduction through sweet orange aromatics and oversized purple flower clusters. Earthy, floral, and pine notes appear in seller descriptions, but citrus is the breeder’s headline. Bright purple plants carry a frosty resin coating, giving this tree plenty of ornamental value before harvest.

The Humboldt version’s reported effects suggest there’s more to this tree than getting planted. Its breeder describes an observant, mentally engaged experience suited to appreciating the surroundings, while seed sellers also mention creativity and relaxation. Think an afternoon that feels a little more interesting, with room to unwind. Those descriptions aren’t a broad consumer consensus, and detailed effects reports for Secret Society’s version remain scarce.

Humboldt released Truffula Tree as regular seed for indoor, outdoor, and greenhouse cultivation. Its published flowering time is approximately 60 days, with an outdoor harvest window of October 1–15 under suitable Northern Hemisphere conditions.

Large colas were a deliberate selection goal. As those flowers gain weight, branch support and airflow become practical considerations. Purple coloration and substantial resin are breeder-described traits, though their expression varies with the plant and environment.

Secret Society’s version is also documented as regular seed, with approximately 56 days of flowering and suitability for indoor, outdoor, and greenhouse gardens. Reliable height, yield, and growing-behavior details are limited. Keep the two breeder timelines separate when planning a run.
