Candy Kush has more than one set of roots, and the spelling won’t straighten them out.
Origin 1: OG Kush × Trainwreck. DNA Genetics’ Reserva Privada popularized this pairing as Kandy Kush, bringing OG Kush together with Trainwreck. Sweet lemon meets earthy Kush, with herbal and peppery edges keeping the flavor from going soft. Nirvana offers its own selection of the same named parents under Candy Kush, emphasizing fruity, floral notes and a citrus finish. Shared parent names don’t make the two breeder selections identical.
Origin 2: Candy Kush Express. Royal Queen Seeds offers a separate, indica-leaning line involving Sweet Special and Kush genetics. Its published descriptions differ on the Kush parent, so it shouldn’t be folded into the OG Kush × Trainwreck family by name alone. Earth and pepper give this version a more savory direction.
Origin 3: Candy Kush Auto. Auto Seeds pairs Californian Kush genetics with Auto Pounder. This autoflowering version leans into caramel sweetness, herbal spice, and a heavier body experience.
Across the THC-focused versions, reported effects tend toward an upbeat opening followed by physical relaxation. Some selections settle into sleepiness as the experience develops. The name gets you in the neighborhood; the breeder tells you which address.
Candy Kush’s growing schedule depends on which family is in the room. Reserva Privada’s Kandy Kush typically flowers in 9–10 weeks, producing resinous flowers with substantial weight. Nirvana lists 7–9 weeks for its selection, which can stretch considerably and develop long, dense buds.
Candy Kush Express is a separate fast-flowering photoperiod line. Candy Kush Auto follows an automatic cycle, with published estimates around 65–75 days from seed to harvest. That full-cycle figure should not be confused with flowering time for the photoperiod versions.
