OG Kush Breath, better known as OGKB, is a rare, clone-only phenotype from the GSC family with an origin story that's never been completely nailed down. Despite the OG in its name, OGKB isn't simply OG Kush with another Kush stacked on top. The cut is generally traced to the Cookies family, where its dense frost, stubborn funk, and breeding potential helped turn it into serious genetic currency.
The nose runs deep into dessert territory without losing its funk. Earth, dough, vanilla, nuts, and chocolate mingle with peppery herbs, berry sweetness, and a diesel edge. The buds tend to grow dense and heavily frosted, ranging from pale to dark green with occasional purple coloring, curled orange pistils, and enough trichomes to explain why breeders keep dragging OGKB back into the gene pool.
OGKB hits with a quick euphoric spark before the heavier side starts taking over. The head gets hazy, the body gets comfortable, and whatever you had planned for later starts looking increasingly negotiable. Push it far enough and that deep relaxation can turn downright sleepy, making OGKB better suited to winding down than winding up.
Original OGKB remains a clone-only cut, so seeds carrying the name are generally crosses or worked descendants rather than seed versions of the original phenotype.
OGKB is reported to be a relatively slow-growing plant during the vegetative stage, followed with a 10 to 11-week flowering period. This plant tends to produce medium yields and typically leads to tight internodal spacing. During the curing process, the dense buds can take on a lush green or purple hue, heavily lined with bright orange stigmas and glistening trichomes.
