Mesa Organics is a Pueblo 21+ Adult Use Retail Marijuana Dispensary
Mesa Organics is a family-owned 21+ adult use/retail marijuana dispensary located two miles south of the Pueblo Municipal Airport on the corner of US Hwy 50 East (business & Baxter Rd). Their mission is to grow, distribute, and sell the finest cannabis products to promote healthy living, and implement business practices that respect the Earth and environment. Their company is committed to improving the lives of people and their pets with cannabis infused products . You can contact them anytime with questions by phone, email, social media, or through their website.
The owners of Mesa Organics have come a long way since Colorado legalized the sale of retail marijuana. Jim and Pam Parco have been together since they were 15 years old. After spending 24 years in the military, they moved back to Pueblo where their family has been on the same land for 100+ years, and there, they built their facility. Along with the store, they also have a cultivation on-site as well as a full-scale CO2 supercritical extraction operation operating as “Purplebee’s.”
Pueblo County was the first in the state (along with Denver) to legalize the retail production, use and sale of cannabis in January 2014. However, during the summer of 2016, an anti-cannabis group known as “CAVE People” (Citizens Against Virtually Everything) petitioned the community to take Pueblo County back to Prohibition. Mesa Organics took the lead to orchestrate the campaign to educate the community on the benefits that legalized, retail marijuana has had on Pueblo. It has created over 1,300 above-minimum wage jobs and generates more than $3.5 million in annual local tax revenue. When the votes were in after the election, their advocacy group known as “Growing Pueblo’s Future” defeated the Prohibitionists 58-42.
Before opening Mesa Organics, neither Jim or Pam Parco had ever seen a cannabis plant; it wasn’t until Jim’s uncle had a double-knee replacement and contracted Shingles in the same week during the summer of 2014. He applied to be a medical marijuana caregiver, and that same day went into a dispensary to purchase an ounce of cannabis to treat the pain that prescription medicine couldn’t. With the purchased ounce of cannabis, he made a homemade salve to penetrate through his uncle’s pain and was astounded when his uncle no longer needed to take prescription medicine to treat his pain. In April 2015, Mesa Organics was granted a local permit to open in Pueblo, and by January 2016 they had acquired the mandatory state licenses to grow, manufacture, and dispense medical and recreational cannabis to customers throughout Pueblo. As a college professor, Jim also strives to educate and inform the public on the medicinal benefits of marijuana.
Mesa Organics has over a hundred premium marijuana products in stock in the Pueblo dispensary. The Mesa Organics team of growers professionally cultivate their Purplebee’s signature strains which include Blue Mystic, Hash Plant, Blueberry, The REM, Power Plant, Godberry, Ghost of Lee Roy, Gorilla Cookies and Apollo 13.
Mesa Organics also manufactures Purplebee’s CO2 extracts on-site. They carry a full line of sativa, indica, hybrid and high-CBD oils, waxes, saps and vape cartridges. By manufacturing on-site, their pure CO2 extracts are among the least expensive in the industry, and at the same time, among the highest quality in terms of potency and terpenes.
Mesa Organics only carries the products that the staff deem as “Outstanding” – never just good. Favorites include Coda Chocolates, Taste Budz gummies, Zoots baked goods, Marqaha tinctures, Stratos tablets, Lucky chewable tablets, and CannaPunch beverages – to name a few.
Mesa Organics carries a full line of salves, lotions, transdermal patches and sprays targeting and eliminating pain on contact. In addition to this Pueblo dispensary’s menu, Mesa Organics also carries pre-rolls, pipes, vaporizing and dabbing accessories.
Pueblo is the ninth largest and most populated city of Pueblo County, Colorado. The Pueblo Zoo attracts visitors from all over the country. Providing a quality environment for visitors and animals, the Pueblo Zoo covers twenty-five acres in the southwest quadrant of Pueblo City Park and is home to over 400 animals and 120 species including lions, otters, penguins, and red pandas.
Jim and Pam Pam Parco have also announced plans (as part of a local nonprofit organization) to build the National Marijuana Museum in Pueblo. It seemed only fitting to locate the museum in Pueblo given it was the first to fully legalize marijuana in the United States as well as the first county to successfully repeal aspiring Prohibitionists. The museum is slated to open in the summer of 2018. For updates, follow them on Facebook.

This was the first shop that I ever got to visit. Their staff was super friendly and knew just what to reccomend when I started asking for specifics. The Silver Apple is to die for! Excellent taste and just so dang PRETTY! Great work, Mesa! Keep up the beautiful medicine and outstanding customer service! See you again soon!
If you are looking for the top shop in Colorado, look no further. Mesa Organics is a wonderful shop filled with knowledgeable, friendly people focused on customers. The store is extremely clean and inviting with a great selection of some of the highest quality products I have ever found.
I don't write a lot of reviews, typically only when I am very impressed (or unimpressed) with a company. These folks don't fail to impress with any aspect of their operation. This is, quite frankly, the way all cannabis shops should be.
If you live in or around Colorado do yourself a favor and take the drive to Mesa Organics. You simply won't be sorry you did. Jim and Pam have put together a cannabis shop that literally sets the bar for all others.
nice small shop a bit out of the way for some but right down the street for me. great bud at cheap prices and great service. always have strawberry cough seeds on hand, and their clones are A+! next time I'm in I'm going to try either their moonrocks or Co2 oil.

out the door for under 120. The staff was helpful and we talked about distilling more than weed. I scored my 99.99oz done deal, but they make honey oil. They were making it as i was there. The staff was excited and rightfully so. They had a very good price on it but I could not buy as I had hit my limit. I had all 3 Tenders talking and the person operating the still came up and talked to me about the process. I had heard him before make a loud alarming noise, slamming a deep freezer lid, hahaha. the tenders went to check on his well being and he emerged from the back room. When he spoke to me he knew his stuff but could see his eyes. hahaha I think he had been around and breathing vapors. hahaha I even felt good there. He spoke in detail about this very Scientific process and spoke of similarities and differences in this product vs distilling MoonShine. I was grateful for this information and I am really pleased we have access to the individuals who are directly manufacturing and supplying the product I use. This is uncommon in America. Interesting how weed vapors bring clarity, but we all know I am joking. This shop was a pure pleasure to spend time and shop in. Thank you side note: my GPS would not accept the address so use the crossing intersection Baxter rd, on the corner.
Walking in the place smelled like hay and grass clippings ( improper drying and curing of the buds) all that time and effort growing buds just to rush the drying and curing and loose all the terps they once had. Several of their strains were brown colored and very little trichs l. Then they tried selling me northern lights clones that were taken during flower instead of veg, they very little root development, crinkled burnt leaf tips, and the roots were browning. Clones had a date of 4-15 and it is 5-15 today. I only got a preroll of their Loud Scout and it tasted like strait dirt swag bunk for $10 plus tax . step it up or get left behind
We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review. Of 34 reviews, yours is the first one that left that was negative. We hate to see this, but understand we can't please everyone all of of the time. As for the "hay smell", we happened to be harvesting yesterday when you apparently came by, and given that we have a store, manufacturing facility and cultivation in the same building, you quite likely smelled the VERY FRESH wet "hay smell" that comes with cutting down plants. All of our flower is cured for at least 30 days in a hermetically-sealed room controlled for temperature and humidity, and all cured cannabis is in air-tight jars, so what you smelled was certainly the fresh harvest. As for the "brown colored strains", we can't address this because we aren't sure what you were looking at. All of our flower is from local growers and we put pictures of the flower on our site so people know what they are getting before they come by. As for the date on the clones, it takes time for a clone to root. If a clone was cut on 4/15, we would typically place it for sale after 22-24 days, so given that you bought it on 5/15, you bought a plant that was 30 days old, which is typically the peak of plant health for transplant. As for your final comment about the Girl Scout Cookies Platinum preroll from Loud Seeds (aka "Loud Scout"), it seems you just wanted to say something negative about everything. We pride ourselves being a mom-and-pop shop that we strive to do everything to the highest standards. We do appreciate feedback, but yours here seems more intent on trying to hurt, and not help. We sincerely regret to hear that you weren't happy with your visit. Assuming you are a real customer writing a real review, and not a competitor trying to hurt our otherwise perfect reputation (which has happened quite often), it's probably best that you please shop elsewhere in the future.
My buddy and I were celebrating the 420 holiday and found a wonderful nugget here. Off the hook wonderful prices, customer service, knowledge of their products and flower. The PINK KUSH is heaven for everything that ails ya. Thanks, Pam.

Everytime I go here, It feels more like going to a friend's house instead of a shop. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I went in and bought an eighth of Lemon Skunk Diesel. Nothing short of fantastic. Great flavor and beautiful high.
They're prices are pretty good for retail. I highly recommend Mesa Organics.
We appreciate your continued support. We're working hard to bring our prices down and committed to being the best option for our customers. Thanks for your kind review yet again. We sincerely appreciate it!
I always stop by Mesa Organics when I am out west. They have the best product and great prices compared to other shops. The staff is very helpful and they have plenty of choices in product. Great location for me and the shop is very clean, cozy, and inviting. The only change I would make would be to update the pricing sections for concentrates/edibles/other products than just flowers on their Weedmaps menu. I am looking forward to coming back soon!
Thanks for you review and suggestions. We are in the process of changing some of our concentrate suppliers, and with any luck, you should see a rather dramatic price drop in our in-house concentrate prices in the months ahead. We hope to make an announcement on our new pricing by 4/20/17. Stay tuned!
