Tricopath
- Honey (100% of reported flavors)
Tricopath has a serious frost habit. Bred by In House Genetics, this indica-leaning hybrid crosses Platinum with the North Cascade cut of Jelly Breath, reversing the parental roles used for Platinum Jelly. Same family reunion, different seating arrangement. The Platinum parent is In House Genetics’ breeding line, while Jelly Breath brings Mendo Breath and Do-Si-Dos into the pedigree.
Gas does most of the talking here. Pungent fuel and spicy diesel lead the nose, with earthy herbs, pine, and occasional citrus sharpening the edges. The flavor follows that savory, fuel-heavy direction, leaving a peppery finish that keeps the sweetness in check. Deep green flowers can show dark purple accents beneath an extravagant coating of pale trichomes. There’s plenty of color under there; the resin just insists on being seen first.
People who’ve spent real time with this cut describe pronounced relaxation, sometimes accompanied by a brighter, more upbeat headspace than the indica label suggests. Some find it comfortably mellow; others report enough lift to stay engaged before settling down. Tricopath can put the evening in a lower gear without making every experience a lights-out affair. Your particular cut, serving size, and tolerance get the final say.
Tricopath was released as feminized photoperiod seed and is described as a medium-to-tall plant suitable for indoor and outdoor cultivation. Flowering generally takes around eight to nine weeks, with good yield potential and notably resinous flowers. An indica lean doesn’t make this a squat little plant, so leave room for height.
For taller selections, canopy training and branch support are sensible precautions. Maintain airflow around developing flowers, and judge harvest readiness by the individual plant rather than treating day 60 as a mandatory finish line. Expect some variation between seed-grown plants in height, coloration, and aroma.
