Mendo Breath has sweet breath and a strong argument for calling it a night. This indica-dominant hybrid pairs OGKB, also known as OG Kush Breath, with Mendo Montage. Gage Green Genetics developed the cross, then selected plants from the original generation for its celebrated F2 release.
Vanilla and caramel give the jar a rich, creamy introduction, but there’s dirt under those dessert notes. Earthy musk and peppery spice cut through the sweetness, with some plants adding mint chocolate and fresh berries. It’s a generous spread for a strain whose name sounds like it forgot a toothbrush.
Dense, knuckled buds range from mint green to deeper olive, threaded with orange pistils and buried under a thick trichome coat. Some plants show purple accents, though plenty keep their greens. Either way, the resin does most of the showing off.

The original F2 release uses regular seeds, and its offspring can vary in finishing time, flavor, and color. Purple plants make up only a small portion of that population. Dense, resinous flowers benefit from steady airflow and careful moisture control late in bloom.
Barney’s Farm’s feminized release carries the same OGKB × Mendo Montage parent pairing and lists 56–70 days of indoor flowering, with outdoor harvest in early to mid-October in the Northern Hemisphere.
