Motorbreath comes from the part of the family tree where Chem and OG stop being subtle. Pisces Genetics breeder Jimmy Nitz crossed Chem D with SFV OG Kush, then Motorbreath #15 emerged as the standout phenotype reportedly selected by forum grower Sticky Icky OG. That #15 cut caught fire, circulated hard, and became so closely associated with the name that dispensary menus now use Motorbreath and Motorbreath #15 almost interchangeably. The line also logged a 10th-place Mixed Light finish at the 2019 Emerald Cup and went on to become a popular parent for breeders chasing even more gas.
And Motorbreath absolutely reeks. Diesel fumes, gasoline, and industrial adhesive hit first, followed by pine, wet earth, peppered meat, garlic, and tart lemon peel. The smoke carries the same savage combination, with sour citrus and warm spice cutting through an oily wall of Chem-and-OG fuel. Plenty of strains call themselves gassy. Motorbreath smells like it came with an exhaust manifold.
The consensus among people who've run through a jar is that Motorbreath comes on with a fast cerebral tingle and euphoric lift before dense physical relaxation starts taking over.
