Pacific Blue
Pacific Blue puts old-school Kush in a coastal zip code. Falcanna created this indica-dominant hybrid by crossing Pre-98 Bubba Kush with DJ Short’s Blueberry, then backcrossing the offspring to Pre-98 Bubba Kush. That extra lap through Bubba keeps the family resemblance strong: earthy, peppery flower with enough funk to make the jar announce itself.
Mint, damp earth, and an unusual kelp-like note give the aroma its shoreline character, with sour skunk and occasional berry sweetness rounding out the edges. The flavor favors savory Kush, cracked pepper, and herbs. Dense, dark green buds wear amber hairs and a lavish frost of long-stemmed trichomes that lends the flower its signature blue cast. The name checks out before the lighter even clicks.
Those who keep Pacific Blue in rotation describe a gradual, happy mental lift followed by a heavier body high and a hazier headspace. Some also report increased arousal, while others settle into a thoroughly unhurried evening. This one has creeper credentials: the first few minutes may undersell where the session is headed.
Falcanna selected Pacific Blue for compact stature, drawing on DJ Short’s Blueberry while reinforcing the desired Bubba Kush traits through backcrossing. The resulting clone became a longstanding reference point in the breeder’s garden. Its dense flowers and abundant, unusually long-stemmed trichomes are defining characteristics.
