Herijuana is an old-school indica with roots stretching back well before the modern dessert-strain era. Woodhorse Seeds brought the cultivar into wider circulation in the early 2000s by crossing Petrolia Headstash with Killer New Haven, combining a Humboldt County indica with genetics reportedly originating in Kentucky.
The nose matches the throwback pedigree. Crack open the flower and expect earth, hash, sandalwood, spice, and a little fruit underneath, without much of the candy-store sweetness running through newer hybrids. The buds tend to grow dense and resin-heavy, giving Herijuana the appropriately glassy look of a strain built for heavier sessions.
The experience follows the same old-school script. Users describe a strong physical high that settles in with deep relaxation, tingling, and a numbing sensation before sleepiness starts creeping into the picture. Herijuana isn't particularly interested in keeping the party moving. It's more likely to convince you the couch had the right idea all along.
The strain creates a fast-growing plant that produces bountiful side branching and is ideal for SCROG (screen of green) training technique. The strain grows relatively slow during the vegetative stage, then stretches dramatically during the first four weeks of flowering. Short, stocky and fast-flowering, it’s typically finished flowering indoors within 56 days of starting the 12/12 light cycle.
