LA Affie has been keeping So Cal hashed-up for decades. An old Southern California indica with Afghan roots, it circulated as a closely held cutting before reaching DNA Genetics, who used it to create LA Confidential. Its original breeder and exact parentage remain undocumented.
The Cali Connection later released selfed seeds from the LA Affie clone, carrying the line forward without introducing another named parent. Sweet hash dominates the profile, with earthy depth and subtle fruit underneath. The bag appeal is that warm, resinous flavor: more gas-n-hash than pastry case.
Breeder descriptions give LA Affie a surprisingly lively cerebral side alongside its heavier physical effects. Euphoria and a dreamy, sometimes psychedelic quality appear in accounts, while other reports emphasize deep relaxation and eventual sleepiness. That combination gives this old indica more range than its squat reputation might suggest.
The Cali Connection’s LA Affie grows stout and compact, with broad leaves and flowers that can turn purple as they mature. The breeder lists 55–60 days of flowering and medium yields; some seed listings extend the finishing window to 65 days.
These feminized seeds come from selfing the original cutting. They preserve its genetic starting point, but individual seedlings can still differ in aroma, vigor, and coloration. Broad foliage can crowd the interior, making canopy spacing and airflow useful considerations. The listed flowering window applies to this seed release rather than every plant carrying the Affie name.
