Jack’s Cleaner made its name with a nose that could pass for the cleaning cupboard. Overpowering lemon, sharp citrus, and conspicuous resin turned Subcool’s selected female into a keeper with staying power. The cleaner connection was literal inspiration: its mother reminded him of Mr. Clean.

Subcool created the strain by crossing The Cleaner with a Jack Herer male from Sensi Seeds. The Cleaner came from seeds supplied by a fellow grower known as Skoosh, whose line reportedly combined Pluton, Lamb’s Bread, Purple Haze, and Northern Lights. Subcool acknowledged that he wasn't sure of the exact sequence of those earlier crosses.

The standout mother had exceptional lemon character and resin but weak stems and a small frame. After crossing it with the surviving male, Subcool selected his favorite female from roughly 35 seeds. That plant became the original Jack’s Cleaner, preserved as a clone.

Its descendants need their own name tags. Jack’s Cleaner BX introduced a Blueberry cross into a backcross to the original mother. Jack’s Cleaner 2 pairs the original with Jack the Ripper. Both belong to the family, but neither is an interchangeable name for the original cut.

Lemon dominates the aroma and flavor, with a sharp, household-cleaner intensity that gives the citrus an almost chemical edge. Subcool described prominent white trichomes that made the flowers look gooey. The visual signature is that conspicuous resin coating, backed by a larger, more productive plant than its mother.

Regulars who reach for this one describe energetic euphoria, mental stimulation, and an uplifting cerebral buzz. Some report focus and creative momentum; others find the experience more intense and heady. Its reputation favors an active headspace, though individual reactions vary.

The original Jack’s Cleaner is a clone selection. Seed releases carrying BX or numbered names represent later breeding work and should retain their specific identities.

Subcool described the original as a large, heavy-producing plant with substantial resin coverage. His account assigns the weak stems and smaller stature to its mother, so those traits should not automatically be applied to the selected offspring.

A dependable flowering window for the original clone is not established in the supplied breeder account. The frequently listed 8–10 weeks belongs to Jack’s Cleaner 2 seed descriptions and should remain attached to that release.
