The cross is Double Burger x Han Solo Hash Plant, a Han Solo Burger x Black Triangle Kush selection. Credit is contested. Respect and Mrs. Respect of California Seed Bank made the cross during a partnership with Skunk House Genetics' Skunk Master Flex, who curated the Burger stock behind it. That partnership has ended, and both sides claim the strain. Nobody disputes the family recipe: GMO Cookies runs through both parents, and Chemdog sits further up the tree.
The flavor explains the name. Expect umami over candy: garlic, onion, cheese, and cracked pepper on a skunky, ammonia-tinged base, with gas throughout and a spicy lemon or pine edge on some cuts. Buds are triangle-shaped with deep green bases and amber-tinged purple leaves, under trichome coverage the breeder describes as a silvery sheen.
That resin is the point. Growers report hash returns above 7%, which is how a strain earns the label hash dumper. Flower tests high too, commonly in the upper 20s to low 30s, and it took silver for THCa content at the 2024 California State Fair Cannabis Awards.
Reviewers describe a relaxing body effect with a mood lift and giggly euphoria, heavy without full couch-lock, turning sleepy as it settles. Headache, dry mouth, and paranoia are the reported downsides, and it isn't pitched at beginners. Order it well done. Hold the candy terps. Clear the evening.
Hash Burger grows bushy and compact, with tight internodes and a 1.5x to 2x stretch in the first weeks of flower. Grow guides rate it moderate difficulty. Top once or twice, run a trellis, and plan to support heavy colas late.
Flower runs 8 to 10 weeks, and week nine is often the sweet spot. The plant stays hungry for nitrogen into early flower longer than a typical indica hybrid. The breeder cites yields up to three pounds per light.
