Larry OG, also known as Lemon Larry, is a Southern California OG with OG Kush and SFV OG in its family tree. The Cali Connection helped bring Larry OG to the seed market, turning the once-elusive cut into one of the better-known branches of the sprawling OG family.

The nose doesn't stray far from the OG playbook, but Larry turns up the citrus. Sharp lemon and fresh pine hit first, followed by earthy Kush, peppery spice, and a streak of fuel that hangs around after the jar closes. The flower typically grows dense and resinous, with green buds, long orange pistils, and plenty of trichome coverage.

Fans describe Larry OG as walking the line between head and body without immediately falling off either side. The high can open euphoric, happy, and mentally lively before settling into a calmer physical buzz. That combination gives Larry enough lift to stay engaged while still delivering the mellow finish that made the OG family famous.

The hybrid strain is reported to grow tall, producing long, dense minty green buds with dark orange stigma hairs in a 56-70 day flowering period.

Though very resistant to mold, mildew, and environmental extremes, Larry OG is reportedly moderately difficult to grow and may require an indoor grow environment for optimal care and control. The strain is reportedly responsive to hydroponic grow systems.

The breeder has also crossed Larry OG with SFV OG Kush IBL to create Larry OG Kush, an award-winning strain that won first place in the 2012 and 2014 High Times Medical Cannabis Cup.

According to lab testing results from Analytical 360, some Larry OG Kush strains have THC levels that exceed 23%.
