GG4 makes a sticky first impression and has a reputation for making the couch the last stop. Also known as Original Glue, this resin-heavy hybrid combines Sour Dubb, Chem Sister, and Chocolate Diesel. Earth, sour fuel, and pine give it a pungent profile that never needed a dessert name to draw a crowd.

Origin 1: The original GG Strains selection is credited to Josey Wales and Mardogg. Its history involves an accidental pollination, followed by selection of the plant that became GG4. The name references resin sticky enough to gum up trimming scissors, a calling card that carried from the grow room to the jar.

Origin 2: CSI Humboldt offers a feminized S1 listed as GG4 × GG4. This is a selfed seed generation derived from GG4, rather than an unrelated origin or a guarantee that every seed will reproduce the original clone exactly.

Origin 3: Canuk Seeds offers a feminized GG4 line whose supplied genealogy traces to the same three-strain foundation. Its listing describes broad leaves, roughly double the height during stretch, and citrus-pine aromas. The material supplied does not specify the seed-making method, so it should not automatically be labeled an S1.

The aroma has a sour, earthy bite, with diesel and chemical notes crowding around the pine. Citrus shows more clearly in some selections, including Canuk’s description. The profile stays rooted in pungency: less fruit bowl, more fuel spill beside a freshly split log.

Chunky flowers carry the heavy trichome coverage that made GG4’s name stick. Bud shape and density can shift across seed-grown selections, but abundant resin remains the defining visual theme. This is frost with a practical consequence for whoever has to trim it.

GG4 can lift your mood while quietly canceling your plans to stand up. Its reported high pairs strong mental euphoria with a deep physical unwind that can build into couch-lock. The head gets some altitude; the body finds somewhere to park.

GG4 is grown indoors and outdoors, with flowering commonly reported around eight to nine weeks. Timing, stretch, and production depend on whether the plant is the original cut, a selfed offspring, or another breeder’s seed selection.

Canuk’s supplied description lists approximately eight weeks of flowering and a stretch of roughly twice the plant’s starting height, making overhead space worth planning before the flip. CSI Humboldt’s supplied S1 record does not establish a flowering schedule or measured yield.

Feminized seeds can still produce plants with different growth habits and flower characteristics. Treat the original clone’s reputation as background, then assess the actual selection rather than expecting every seedling to be a carbon copy.
