Fuji OG
aka Fuji, Fuji Kush
Fuji OG is an indica-dominant hybrid strain whose origins remain a matter of debate. The most widely cited lineage traces it to a cross of Larry OG and Kurple Fantasy. However, other sources tell a different story: some identify it as a Goji OG and Granola Funk cross (both strains developed by Bodhi Seeds), while others list competing theories involving OG Kush, Apple Fritter, and Triangle Kush genetics. What's clear is that the strain — sometimes called “Fuji Kush” or just “Fuji” — emerged on West Coast dispensary menus in the late 2010s and has since found a following on the East Coast as well.
Reviewers frequently describe an earthy, herbal aroma with woody undertones and hints of pine and grape. The flavor tends to lean minty and spicy, with a pungent finish that fans of classic OG profiles will recognize. As for the experience, users often report an initial wave of euphoria and mental focus that gradually settles into a calm, full-body relaxation. Enthusiasts note it's the kind of strain that can start social and end mellow — a creeping onset that people say builds steadily over time. Those drawn to Fuji OG's profile often explore Larry OG for its shared earthy-pine OG backbone, Goji OG for overlapping fruity terpene expression, or Pie Hoe for a comparable euphoric onset.
Fuji OG is a moderate-difficulty strain that stays compact at one to two feet indoors, making it a solid fit for growers working with limited vertical space. Outdoors, it stretches to roughly two and a half feet and thrives in warm Mediterranean climates with temperatures between 72–80°F during flowering. The dense, trichome-heavy bud structure means you'll want to maintain strong airflow and keep humidity around 40–50% in late flower to keep mold at bay. Flowering wraps up in roughly eight to nine weeks, and growers often report yields around 400 g/m² indoors and 10–15 oz per plant outdoors when conditions stay dialed in.

This strand is now one of my favorites. It gives you that nostalgic high. You know, back when you first started smoking type of high. In other words it gives you a sedative/euphoric, eyes feel tight type of high. 10/10
