You guys are amazing & still unbelievably positive after a very hectic opening day! Even with clients getting snippy about wait times & lines (clients who obviously left their chill at home), every single one of you were adorably apologetic & friendly. I loved that you made sure everyone was comfortable & hung out with them to answer any questions they had. And repeatedly let us know how our opinions mattered & to please share them on your chalkboard. As a patient going to the opening day of the county's first local dispensary, it's an unrealistic expectation to think one would be in and out on a lunch break! Thankfully I expected wait times, but I didn't expect to have such a good time waiting! Your facility emitted a very positive and chill vibe, while still staying professional and informative! People tend to forget that you're still a medical facility & still have guidelines to follow. No matter what hiccups come your way today, you guys are doing amazing and I will be back!

I had to leave this review to address some of the ignorant ones. First in regards to the waits. They are taking extra time with all their first time patients to see what they want and to make suggestions. In time waits will drop. When I was thee two people had already been there 3 or 4 times. Geez buy enough to last you more than a day crack head! They wanted to open quickly so they bought what they bought. I got good deals on 1/8ths quality buds and Coleen let me pick my own. She gave me a choice! I don’t get that in Frederick. She also explained the obstacles to overcome bringing deli style to market. NOT gonna happen soon but as long as they give me a choice I will buy my flower there instead of gLeaf. Sorry GLeaf you always have and still do suck. I think they are off to a great start. The staff is friendly and the place is clean and the variety of products is pretty good. I know it’s better when things are organized in weed maps so all patients can see what is available&best for them so they have an idea of what they want so the line can move along helping everyone get there medicines in a timely manner. If the information is there it takes up less of everybody’s time. Update: since my recent trip into MHWC I spoke to JW about the weedmaps situation rest assured he is working on more then system to accommodate live as well as being able to place our orders online for easy and quick pick up. These things take time and products are in constant rotation. The rewards system is the best I’ve seen by far. The only comparison would be all the way in Gaithersburg @sweetspot. GLeaf if your reading this loyal customers are relying on you to play nice and work together for the sake of us! The patient.

I had the privilege of being invited to an early VIP opening. The staff is incredible and the owner spent at least 20-25 minutes with me telling me the direction she’s taking this dispensary. Amazing things are in store for here.

Love the Bud tenders and the staff, so friendly and knowledgeable. love watching you guys grow. keep up the good work! I do have some constructive criticism, please stock more flower and update the menu daily. The menu issue is a major thing that should be priority. I don't like guessing what you may or may not have. with that being said I enjoy your loyalty points and great staff.

This place gets a lot of heat for not having flower variety or bulk flower but it just opened in june of 2019 Places in fredrick have been open for a lot longer, which means they have more product variety and weight. I hear so many people in the lobby saying " flower selection sucks I'm going to fredrick" doing this takes sales away from MHWC and you wonder they have 60$ 8ths. Support this local dispensary because the staff is awesome, always have a smile and having a laugh or two. The concentrates like live resin, badder, and the shatter are straight fire here, PLUS the best damn point system you'll ever see. A point for every dollar spent, getting a free gram of concentrate for every 500 points is a steal. At the end of it all this place is like insects and ligaments its the BEES KNEES. I went in last night, just planning on buying a cheap eighth and maybe a preroll. Especially since I hadn't really tried anything new from this place in a while. I go in there a lot, since it's convenient and I adore the atmosphere. Thankfully my budtender was one that I get frequently and, like all of their staff, pays attention to what I get and my preferences! She pointed out a new strain to me and even went over the terp profile with me, because they get honest enjoyment with helping people be more knowledgeable about what we buy. The new strain was 20 bucks over what I had planned to get, but I trusted her opinion! It payed off because when she rung me up, I found out that I had enough LOYALTY points for a free preroll. I definitely left satisfied, bordering on giggly, since I was able to get both my eighth and preroll that I intended to get in the first place. You know what though? The new strain sucked! Well, it looked great and tasted amazing, but I just had an episode of dry mouth so intense that I almost threw up before I opened my water! But I hadn't drank enough water in the morning, so it would have been my fault. Will I call to complain or feel negatively about them because I got it there? No! They're the middle man! The one lesson that I've learned in my 20+ years of self-medicating with cannabis: Always trust the dealer. They've always been the ones to deal with bullcrap so that we (their customers) don't have to negotiate pricing or do the growing ourselves. Do I blame my dispensary for my experience? No! Will I continue to be loyal to them ? I'd be insane not to, especially with their loyalty program! Literally hundreds of dollars of free product just for coming to hang out! And despite that the product can be hit or miss, quality-wise, I know that they're not the ones that do the packaging and they're definitely not the ones that roll the pre-rolls. Being loyal to them is way better than nitpicking over something that they can't control. Like prices. But they even have our back on that too! When a local grower was overpricing MHWC cut the price for the customer to match what they were paying. And when the growery came to their senses and lowered their prices, MHWC refunded every patient who bought the product at those bullcrap prices. That's stoner love! They prove that patient happiness and affordable pricing are what they're focusing on& I'm happy to have them helping me navigate this crazy new world of legal weed! (insert slow clapper here)

its opening June 20th

I've been watching the progress since last year and I'm happy things are almost done and you'll be opening soon. I'm looking forward to coming in and checking everything out and hopefully be able to save me a few trips a month and stay local 😉.

Some of the people on here need to rid their heart of all the hate and remember that two years ago, you couldn’t legally buy cannabis. Now you can do be appreciative! This is a great location and well put together. The staff was beyond friendly and willing to help and educate those who are new to cannabis. While they do not have a wide selection like most dispensaries, they are still new and working with companies to bring in more product and options. Just like every other dispensary in Maryland when they first started. Overall this is a decent dispensary with lots of potential and it’s a great addition to Hagerstown!

When I got there at 7:15pm there were no cars/customers so i was able to register quickly and was called back within 5 minutes. Selection is good and prices are in line with most that have been open since the start. I like the hours 9am to 9 pm 7 days a week. Waiting area can seat approx 10 people and is cozy.. No snacks or water yet :) They have a scrolling menu board with prices and specials and a board for suggestions on what you would like to see. The price. Location. Product. All check out and are legit.. Thanks for finally opening in WashCo!!!! 😊

Good first impression so far friendly staff good locally grown (Washington County) and nationally grown product also fairly priced. Also Honors it Military Veterans with a military discount. this dispensary is long overdue for Washington County Maryland Residents. We are Happy to see you all here .

Great staff, very educated and super nice!!! Good prices, couldn´t find a single product thats cheaper in Frederik or Cumberland. Best store I visited yet in MD. They want to start Deli style dispensing in July. Onwards through the fog, Hagerstown!!

Like i said nice place nice people they have room for improvement but who doesn't. I am sure their prices on those pens will come down so just hang in there and i hope they add loyalty points program and if everyone gets a discount on something a veteran should still get their discount on top after all we were and still are ready to give our life for you and everyone else who lives in America

Had a hole in one of the pre rolls from grow west so unrolled it to just re roll my own. Needless to say I found nothing but shake which was mainly stems and leaf trimmings. Super harsh with a very mid grade weed taste. Very disappointed considering the 8ths from grow west are 🔥

I’m a 20 year 100% combat disabled veteran and I’ve spent years on prescription meds. I have nothing but good things to say about the crew at MHWC. You guys are why I went to Annapolis to fight for the Cannabis rights of our Veterans in Maryland. There’s always room for improvement. It’s the effort and motivation that is more than evident in your team that will make your team shine. Mr Jason loves you guys!
