Sour P has two documented genetic identities, and neither keeps its nose clean.
Origin 1: Resin Seeds crosses the Riri cut of Sour Diesel with the Hy-Pro cut of Amnesia Haze. Kush arrives first, then the sour finish takes over and hangs around. Firm, cone-shaped buds wear a generous coat of resin, with foliage capable of turning purple, red, gold, and yellow. The flower has looks, but that lingering sour bite does the flirting. Resin Seeds also highlights its extraction potential, giving hash-minded consumers another reason to pay attention.
Origin 2: Humboldt CSI pairs Sour Diesel with HP13. This version gets considerably funkier: grower feedback describes fermented fruit, pepper, spice, and a nose that wanders into downright filthy territory. Less fruit bowl, more fruit left somewhere warm. That aromatic personality belongs to this cross, rather than serving as a stand-in for the Haze version.
The sour stays sharp even when the edges soften. Resin Seeds describes its version as combining a hazy cerebral lift with comfortable physical relaxation, leaving room for an engaged headspace without promising laser focus. It can still carry substantial weight, so “functional” depends on the serving. Detailed effects accounts for Humboldt CSI’s version remain limited.
Both versions are offered as feminized seeds. Resin Seeds lists 10–11 weeks of indoor flowering and approximately 400 g/m², with outdoor harvest guidance spanning September to October. Humboldt CSI’s flowering window isn’t established.
