Scooby Snacks is an indica-dominant hybrid from Oregon's Archive Seed Bank, founded by breeder Fletcher Watson, better known as ThaDocta. Archive created the original regular seed line by crossing its Platinum Cookies cut with Face Off OG BX1. That Platinum mother came from the Bay Area Cookies scene, while Face Off OG BX1 brings Archive's signature OG genetics into the mix.
The Cookies side doesn't get buried. Scooby Snacks pushes sweet dough and buttery cookie funk against skunk, earth, wood, and pungent OG, with some plants throwing an incense-like edge. The flowers grow into dense, resin-heavy spears that can pick up deep purple tones as they finish.
Regulars describe a euphoric opening that gradually gives way to a heavier, more relaxed gear. Hunger commonly joins the ride, while stronger sessions tend to get hazier and slower as they stretch out.
Archive also offers a feminized Scooby Snacks built from the same Platinum Cookies mother crossed with Face Off OG rather than Face Off OG BX1. The original regular release remains the version tied to Platinum Cookies × Face Off OG BX1.
The name comes straight from Scooby-Doo's favorite mystery-solving fuel, but the genetics are pure Archive: Bay Area Cookies slammed into the Face Off OG family that helped define the breeder's catalog.
According to the original breeder, Scooby Snacks grows tall in height and produces medium yields. Compared with other strains, Scooby Snacks requires a bit more time during the growing phase, while the flowering period takes just seven to nine weeks. The final product is a visually striking mature plant with dense, purple-hued colas that are shaped like spears and heavily coated in resin.
