hybrid
23 to 30 percent THC range

Platinum Glue takes the sticky horsepower of Original Glue and plates it in Kush. Also known as Platinum Gorilla and Platinum Gorilla Glue, this indica-dominant hybrid crosses the legendary GG4 cut with Platinum Kush, pairing one resin factory with another for a cultivar that doesn't exactly travel light on the trichomes.

The flowers come chunky, dense, and seriously sticky, with a thick crystal coat that can give the buds the silvery finish behind the Platinum name. Crack one open and the Glue side punches through first: diesel, earth, and skunky funk, followed by pine, spice, subtle berry sweetness, and darker Kush notes underneath.

Potency generally lives in heavyweight territory. Reports commonly put Platinum Glue in the mid-to-upper 20s for THC, with seed material listing 26–29% and some flower testing even higher. That's plenty of reason to treat ~27% as a working average rather than pretending every platinum-coated nug leaves the lab with the same number.

Budtenders hear it described as euphoric and deeply relaxing, with the brighter opening giving way to a heavier, sleepier body finish. Appetite also turns up in consumer reports, but sedation is the headline. Platinum Glue takes the GG4 reputation for sticking you in place and adds enough Kush weight to make getting unstuck feel like tomorrow's problem.

Indoor flowering runs roughly 60–70 days, or about 9–10 weeks, with high yields reported under dialed-in conditions. The flowers get especially dense and sticky late in bloom, so airflow and humidity control deserve extra attention as harvest approaches. This one earns both halves of the name in the grow room: heavy frost from the Platinum side and enough Glue resin to make trimming a genuinely sticky situation.
