Orange Crush is the soda-fountain classic with flower in the bottle. Two breeders serve different recipes under the name, each with a citrus pedigree worth squeezing.
Origin 1: BC Growers Association crossed its prized Californian Orange clone with Blueberry. The Cali-O mother brought the sweet Tang aroma; Blueberry made its presence known in the offspring, producing a vigorous, mostly indica hybrid. This Canadian cross later contributed to Orange Dream and Orange Creamsicle. The family has been working the juice counter for generations.
Origin 2: Twisty Seeds combines Californian Orange, Blueberry, and its own Creamsicle in a mostly sativa version. Twisty pitches a sweet, tangy flavor and powerful cerebral effects, with dense flowers wearing plenty of trichomes and orange pistils. Same soda sign, different house blend.
Sweet orange dominates the nose, with tart zest cutting through and a softer berry note rounding out the flavor. The Orange Crush strain has the kind of citrus profile that makes the name feel less like marketing and more like somebody actually smelled the jar.
Smokers give Orange Crush strain effects a social reputation: happy, uplifted, and talkative, with an energetic edge in many accounts. Others find room for relaxation alongside the head change. The smoke-circle appeal is easy to picture: somebody passes the orange, and suddenly everybody has a story.
The documented BC Growers Association and Twisty Seeds releases are regular photoperiod seeds, capable of producing male and female plants. Both versions are listed for indoor and outdoor cultivation.
BC Growers Association gives its Orange Crush flowering time as 50–60 days, with plants reaching approximately 90–140 centimeters. The breeder rates it as beginner-friendly and describes indoor yields ranging from moderate to exceptionally high, without supplying a numerical yield target. Vigorous growth and easy cloning and revegetation are standout traits in its breeding notes.
Twisty Seeds lists roughly eight to nine weeks of flowering for its version. Its dense, resinous buds offer a different expression of the shared citrus ancestry. Keep the breeder’s schedule with the plant: these two recipes don’t necessarily finish at the same time.
