Orange Berry gives old-school citrus a berry good accomplice. Created by Icemaster and released through Apothecary Genetics as a limited edition, it crosses California Orange with a Blackberry male. Apothecary identifies its release as indica-leaning. The sativa-heavy classification attached to some descriptions conflicts with that breeder designation but does not establish a separate genetic origin.
The flavor follows the name closely: juicy orange up front, fresh berry sweetness underneath, and a tangy edge that keeps the fruit from turning syrupy. Grape-like sweetness and floral notes can round out the aroma. It’s a fruit-forward profile with enough citrus bite to leave an impression beyond the first sniff.
Flowers are large-ish and diamond-shaped, with lime-green coloring, golden undertones, fine orange pistils, and pale resin frosting. The berry parentage doesn’t guarantee purple buds; the reported look is green and bright beneath the trichomes.
Fans describe calming euphoria and a lingering high, while other accounts emphasize an upbeat headspace, creative interest, and gentle physical relaxation. The orange may announce itself sharply, but the experience can settle into a softer groove. Reports are limited, so neither the lively descriptions nor the breeder’s indica lean should be treated as a guaranteed outcome. The particular flower, amount consumed, and personal tolerance still matter.
Apothecary released Orange Berry as regular seed, listing approximately 6–7 weeks of indoor flowering and potential yields of 350–400 grams per square meter. Outdoor harvest is listed for late September in suitable Northern Hemisphere conditions, with timing and yield dependent on the growing environment.
