OG Chem, also known as Chem OG, is an old-school mashup of two of American cannabis' biggest genetic families. The commonly reported lineage crosses Chem D with OG Kush, stacking Chem funk against the lemon, pine, earth, and fuel associated with classic OG.
Subtle isn't really the assignment here. OG Chem carries a pungent mix of diesel, skunk, sour citrus, pine, and chemical funk, with earthy herbs and pepper filling out the background. Break apart the flower and the sharper lemon and fuel notes tend to come charging forward.
Regulars describe an upbeat, creative opening with enough mental spark to keep the experience moving. Relaxation works its way underneath without immediately flattening that brighter headspace, giving OG Chem the energetic lean behind its sativa-dominant reputation.
The flowers typically flash green and resinous, with orange pistils and a thick trichome layer covering the surface. OG Chem doesn't need candy, frosting, or tropical fruit to make noise. This is Chem and OG doing what they do best: lemon, pine, skunk, and enough fuel to announce the jar before you get your nose over it.
OG Chem is a sativa-dominant hybrid that’s a cross between Chem Dog D and OG Kush. It produces tall plants with narrow leaves thanks to its sativa heritage. OG Chem has an average flowering time of 49 to 63 days indoors and the end of September to mid-October outdoors. It is known to produce slightly above-average yields, especially outdoors. It does well indoors or outside in a dry environment since it’s generally hardy but susceptible to mold. Screen of Green (ScrOG) and odor-control measures are recommended since OG Chem gives off a very strong ammonia scent.
OG Chem is available as seeds. Clones may be available from those growing the plant.
