Tres Dawg is an old-school Chem heavyweight bred by JJ NYC of Top Dawg Seeds in the early 2000s. JJ crossed Chem D with Afghani #1 and worked the genetics back toward Chem D, creating a line that became important breeding stock for the Dawg family.
The aroma goes hard on diesel, skunk, and earthy Chem funk, with pine, citrus, and pepper cutting through the fuel. Some expressions add a softer floral edge.
Longtime fans describe a strong euphoric lift followed by deep body relaxation and a hazier, sleepier finish. Tres Dawg later became a parent of Stardawg, cementing its place in modern Chem genetics.
Tres Dawg was developed by JJ NYC of Top Dawg Seeds from Chem D and Afghani #1 genetics, followed by backcrossing toward Chem D. Plants tend to grow with sturdy branching and produce dense, resin-heavy flowers with strong Chem-family aromas. Flowering generally runs about nine to 10 weeks, with good yields and enough stretch to benefit from early training and canopy control.
