Lem Dog puts some bite behind the citrus, but the name comes with more than one pedigree.

Origin 1: FreeWorld Genetics’ LemDog crosses Super Lemon Haze with Chemodo. The lemon-heavy parent supplies the leading aroma and stimulating head effects, while Chemodo contributes thicker flowers, vigorous growth, and a funky undertone. Bright citrus up front, something considerably less housebroken underneath.

Origin 2: Another circulating Lem Dog is reported as Lemon Skunk × Chemdog, with its original breeder unconfirmed. This version carries the familiar lemon-cleaner, skunk, and damp-earth combination. Its ancestry is less settled than FreeWorld’s named release, so the two should keep separate family trees.

Across origins, the nose runs from sharp citrus peel and diesel to herbs and wet forest floor. The flavor can bring dry lemon, mint, pine, and a lingering chemical funk, with occasional sweeter fruit underneath. This is lemon with the rind still attached: tart, aromatic, and happy to leave a little bitterness behind.

Appearance varies with the cut. FreeWorld’s plants carry large, resinous flowers. Other batches range from loose, leafy forest-green buds to squat lime-green cones with dark-orange pistils and a dusty trichome coat. Lem Dog doesn’t always win the jar’s beauty contest, but citrus-and-funk smokers have other judging criteria.

Community reviews tend to describe energy, focus, and a cheerful, sometimes giggly head change. That can mean the playlist gets louder and the conversation develops three side quests. Some smokers stay attentive through the silliness; others get spacey or notice a duller, sleepier finish. Appetite can join the session, too. The opening act has some get-up-and-go, but don’t nominate Lem Dog to manage the whole itinerary.

FreeWorld Genetics lists 8–9 weeks of flowering for its Super Lemon Haze × Chemodo release. Plants reach a medium height, with vigorous growth, substantial flowers, and high resin production. The breeder credits Chemodo with improving flower thickness and vigor while preserving the lemon-heavy character.

Production is described favorably, but no measured yield, exact mature height, or dependable outdoor harvest date accompanies that listing. Its useful cultivation distinction is the combination of medium stature and substantial flower development.

Those specifications belong to FreeWorld’s cross. A confirmed cultivation schedule for the separately reported Lemon Skunk × Chemdog version remains unavailable; the shared name does not make the flowering windows interchangeable.
