Gobstopper gives grape the microphone, then lets earthy funk interrupt the chorus. Tart berries and floral sweetness meet a creamy middle and a dry, woody finish. There’s enough going on in this jar to justify a second sniff before anyone gets around to grinding.
Origin 1: Alphakronik Genes released Gobbstopper in 2014 as the second entry in its Wonka Series, crossing Purple Urkle with Sin City Kush. This 80/20 indica-dominant pairing brings lavender and musty depth into a grape-heavy profile, with raspberry and tapioca-like cream rounding out the flavor.
Origin 2: Geist Grow’s separate Da Gobstopper release crosses Gushers with Geist OG. It comes as regular seeds, with a listed flowering window of 56–65 days.
Alphakronik’s expression wears chunky flowers, dark red pistils, and a generous trichome coat. Purple and green coloring gives the buds some contrast beneath the frost. Grape and raspberry lead the nose, while lavender, earthy musk, and sandalwood keep the sweetness from taking over.
Fans who roll it up after work describe a happy, floaty opening with room for creative wandering. Tingling and a loose-limbed feeling become more noticeable as the session settles, and sleepiness can follow. The flavor keeps making conversation even when you’re getting less interested in contributing.
Alphakronik’s Gobbstopper is a regular-seed photoperiod variety suited to indoor and outdoor cultivation, with flowering typically listed at seven to eight weeks. Plants generally stay medium-sized, though some expressions grow taller. The breeder describes a good response to topping and supercropping, with chunky flowers and substantial resin coverage. Yield depends on the selection and growing conditions.
Geist Grow’s Da Gobstopper follows its own 56–65-day flowering schedule. Its regular seed release produces both male and female plants.
