Cherry Thai has two documented breeding histories, with different branches behind the fruit.

Origin 1: Historical grower records attribute Cherry Thai to Reeferman, pairing Cherry Bomb with Oregon Purple Thai. This sativa-dominant cross is the version most commonly described under the name.

Origin 2: The Rev of Kingdom Organic Seeds developed a separate Cherry Thai using his Hawaiian Cherry Bomb F3 and two Thai lines: Batdambang and Juicyfruit Thai. His account describes the Cherry Bomb ancestry as a combination of Hawaiian sativas and Cherry AK-47. He later selected a Cherry Thai female for breeding Chunky Cherry Thai.

The commonly documented Oregon cross leads with cherry, but diesel, herbs, and savory spice keep it from turning into pie filling. Earthy fuel and floral berry notes round out the aroma. The fruit brought company, and somebody smells like a garage.

Reported buds from that version are loose, rounded, and dark olive green, with purple foliage, fine orange hairs, and a frosty trichome coat. Those appearance notes aren’t established for The Rev’s separate line.

Consumers note that Cherry Thai lands with an upbeat, euphoric head change with a tingly physical buzz and underlying relaxation. A little lift upstairs, a little hum everywhere else. Reports for the Oregon cross suggest getting comfortable without necessarily getting sleepy. Enough cherry to sweeten the session, enough buzz to keep it interesting.

For the Oregon Purple Thai cross, secondary grow references suggest approximately 54–72 days of flowering, but an original breeder specification hasn’t been verified. Treat that as a provisional range. Precise height and yield figures are less dependable.

The Rev’s separate Cherry Thai is documented through his breeding work, including selection of a mother during the first half of 2019. Its own flowering window is not clearly established in those notes.

The 60–70-day schedule associated with Chunky Cherry Thai belongs to the subsequent cross with Deep Chunk. Adding another parent changes the recipe. It also changes which growing notes belong on the packet.
