Birthday Cake is one name with more than one recipe, because apparently even weed can't agree on what belongs at a birthday party.

Origin 1: The version most widely circulated today crosses GSC with Cherry Pie, producing an indica-leaning dessert strain loaded with sweet vanilla, dough, berries, nuts, and earthy spice. Several breeders have worked this combination, so there isn't one clean breeder claim that covers everything sold under the Birthday Cake name.

Origin 2: Aficionados of Cannabis Seed Bank has also used Birthday Cake for its Vishnu Kush × Bubblegum Kush cross. That version reportedly runs around 24–26% THC and trades some of the bakery sweetness for pine, spice, and Kushier smoke.

Regulars who reach for Birthday Cake describe a euphoric, happy lift settling into a heavier, relaxed body buzz. Different recipes, same basic assignment: bring the cake and make sure nobody's driving home early.

ACSB reports that Birthday Cake is a mostly indica hybrid with a large yield of dense buds and a fast, five-to-six-week flowering time. It grows quickly indoors or outdoors, but will need some pruning.
