Dear Huge_Clouds: I don't normally respond to other reviews but I felt I had to this time. I've been to Silver State Relief multiple times and I can't see where you are coming from or if we are talking about the same place, the first Dispensary to open EVER in Nevada- you said they opened way too soon but it took 15 years! I thought the Girl Scout Cookies was amazing, as was the Blue Dream and Skunk 1. They told me they would have and indica soon. You compare quality (which is subjective) and price (which is also subjective because it depends on quality) and compare both to Cali but you're comparing apples to oranges! Nevada is not California ! The fact that these guys jumped through so many hoops to bring badly needed medicine to the local community should be applauded. The staff is all super nice from the lovely ladies up front to the Budtenders in back. It's disappointing that Ageism (opposite or not ) is still a problem these days. Also I wanted to clarify that it's not illegal for a dispensary to obtain that amount of meds from a patient if they purchase plants and not the harvested, cured bud. We all make mistakes but I've met all of their Budtenders and I can't see any of them deliberately giving you misinformation . NRS and NAC 453a says if you were growing prior to 7/31/2013 you're grandfathered in, so you should have no problems. Otherwise, you can still grow under other certain conditions. So, to all those out there in Reno/Sparks please give Silver State Relief a chance and make up your own mind. Peace

If you go elsewhere you are missing out!

I have been a long time med customer of Silver State. Once rec was legalized I tried some of the newer dispensaries to try the local selections. After buying from Silver State for years now, I can say with certainty, this is THE place to go! Their prices are extremely fair. The THC percentages are high for a reasonable price and they have a selection of products that cannot be beat. I swear by the Synergy Balm they sell. Once applied it relieves pain within seconds!! Out of all the wonderful things about Silver State, the highlight is the staff. They are incredibly sweet and helpful. They go above and beyond to make sure customers are treated kindly and they are full of very helpful information and suggestions. The staff always makes my day. :) Thank you for all you do.

Knowledgeable and compassionate

I’ve been coming here for over a year now, and I can’t express how much this business, mostly the staff has changed my life. I’ve had great experiences with most of my budtenders, but they have a hidden gem there with Tony. Anytime I request him, he’s right there, with up to date knowledge and consideration towards my ailments. He’s extremely attentive and probably one of the best assets to the company. You guys struck gold hiring him. Keep it up! SSR needs more people like him.

Silver State Review.

This new dispensary is very nice. The bud tenders (and the ladies up front) are knowledgeable and wonderful in my opinion. I chose the blue dream for it's potency, color and presentation. The buds were beautiful and tasty and the effects were wonderful. This strain is excellent for pain and stress and I would suggest Silver State Relief if your looking for quality and excellent service. Thank you SS for all you do. I am one grateful patient. I also look forward to the concentrates that are coming soon. Can't wait! Cheers!

first off the young lady at the front desk. i always judge a book buy it's cover; if you couldn't find a smile in your day this young lady found mine thank you. so nice and polite even when the guy after me was being rude to her while i did paperwork she had a smile. but the guy seemed to set off my PTSD some. when i went in back the nice bud tender( i asked your name and still forgot. sorry. ) gave me a hug because i could think and got upset. helped me with a preroll to mellow me and when i asked about the double dream. oh yes it helps. and it did. when i left i had 3/4 ounce blue dream .5 of the double dream and my pre roll. so nice helpful. I have read all the complaints on weedmaps to facebook. However, don't be fooled, hands down Silver State has the most fairly priced menu in northern Nevada. Now that I'm a med card holder I can't believe how much I save now. Not to mention every other dispensary in town still adds the tax at the check out, at Silver State you know what you're paying. My favorite dispensary most definitely. Now if I could only get a job there, that'd be awesome. Thanks Silver State for helping me medicate to deal with my pain management. By the way, all the budtenders rock, and I always feel welcome.

Great Three Days in a Row!

I've been to Mynt, Sierra Wellness, and Blüm. NONE of them have it on SSR. The staff is great and intellectual about what they're selling, how it helps patients and people on there day to day lives. The price is great and this is the only dispensary with flower eight now, especially with this good of a price, love that one side is recreational and one side is medical!

Another FIVE star visit.

I really love $10 gram Thursdays because I can try a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I left with some INCREDIBLE looking meds. Beautiful buds glistening with trichomes and goodness. I must say the Gumbo is awesome! I also loved the MTF, Durban Poison, (very uplifting) LA OG, and some incredible Ultimate 91 Chemdawg! I will be back for more and more and more!
