T here and WAX has hit The Apothecary! So let's jive about it a bit. First things first I know it took a bit for our good friends' to get wax on the menu and I want to say it was worth the wait! I know personally these amazing people will not sell you a substandard product for profit and that is why I'm hooked on this spot… real business people conducting professional and unwavering service to their patients'! If you haven't experienced them I say swing by THE SPOT…. they've got what your looking for… trust in T. So this wax is PROPER and it's been tested at 58% THC for starters. As far as definitions of wax go, this is on the putty/ hash-end of the spectrum. Not a bad thing just a description. So who really cares about that? I just pulled out the Oil Rig so let's find out the real deal… BAM VERY HIGH:) I can definitely taste that nice Super Lemon Haze concentrated down the pull was a little on the harsh side… but my dabs are for a 230lb frame. Using a Cloud Pen, or similar device, you will get much less of the harsh aspect of dabbing, but that's really a preference thing. So takes us to… if you need more information in regards to this method of consumption, please speak with my good friends' at The Apothecary, or any of the reputable dispensaries in town, they can give you more info then you need I'm certain:) So here's the word on this batch of WAX… comes packaged up the correct way (in a plastic or non-stick container), is clearly labeled with all pertinent information and will get you more stoned then the devils' tits. Do you love waxy concentrates? If so the next time these fine gentlemen get some in, I Highly Highly recommend! First of all the Shatter I bought yesterday, is Shatter… snaps like a hard candy:) That is what the Tucson scene needs more of and these lads carry that no-joke heat! Figuring that there will be concentrates a plenty here soon I grabbed an oil rig (Water Dabber) yesterday. Last time I told you folks about a type of consumption involving batteries and an element. Here I'm using something very similar to a bong only using a Titanium Nail and glass Tumbler with it. Let me say this is the only way to fly when dabbing period. The pocket rigs are great for on the go but require a lot of maintenance and don't leave you feeling up in the clouds (for about 3-4hrs) nearly as much. So if all this sounds like some foreign langue to you please check with the guys at EH… they really are pros, and can get you in the right rig so you to can start dabbing! Also, side note they have some insane flowers in right now I really need to blaze more trees from Earth's Healing, just from what I browsed the other day I would toke anything on the shelf I saw and that is no lie. Alright, I'm up and I need to smoke. So let's have a look at this Louie OG, because there may be none left when I'm done writing this;) The smell this strain gives off is crazy! When you first take in her goodness you'll notice a sweet scent followed by what smells like a faint cucumber body wash and finishes with a subtle hint of lavender. These buds are tight, dense, littered with trichromes and have a grayish-green appearance nicely complementing a scatter of orange hairs. Let's BLAZE! A smooth smoke, like very smooth especially on the throat. The flavor profile is mild with hints of pine and I believe a very faint vanilla note. The high is heavy on the Indica side of things, my back pain and swelling have eased-up and I have a generally fantastic body buzz going. There is a slight heady character in there seems to be massaging my temples… like little marijuana fairies getting my brain fired up. Yup, I just said it and I really don't think I need to say anymore:) Louie OG is a smash if you're looking for an indica that will make you giggly… swing by the spot, a.k.a. The Apothecary!

So there is a lot to choose from up top:) Cataract Kush caught my eye (HA) as she is absolutely beautiful! Literally sprinkled with trichromes this strain has a nice refreshing scent with mild notes of pine and musk. These buds are just so pretty I've been gazing at my jar here wishing I could squeeze my fat butt in there! Now, for only a second, I'd like to warn you this stuff is strong around two bowls last night and I slept like a baby. It also seems to aid a great deal with my back pain and swelling. I really like this smoke for a night blaze seeing as she may put you down. The high is different than what I'm used to for a hybrid. I'm uncertain of the ratios but I'd guess she's a 70indica/30sativa something like to or around there so effects are in favor of her indica parents. Rather you will get a very nice body high (like one with the couch high) and also a nice cerebral thing going on, but not racy or overbearing. Another winner in my book for The Apothecary. T here and I must say it's been a minute since I've been to Earth's Healing, and these guys just don't stop! So, bloody hell we are all finally able to purchase concentrates!!! I saw EH had some Crumble in, so naturally I had to grab some ASAP. Those of you that know me may know I was once an organic chemist, that being said, this is some very high grade product…kudos to whomever produced it:) I'm certain there are a ton of patients that need info on waxes/ concentrates so a very brief description. Marijuana wax or concentrate is made from flowers that have been ground to a powder and macerated (soaked) in a solvent. Solvents vary depending on the who and what; however, know that there will be no solvent in the final products (in case you've heard horror stories). As far as chemists are concerned, ethanol alcohol and olive oil are the two prime solvents used in cannabinoid extraction (just know there are a lot of others that may be used). Again, if done properly what you end up with is a pure extract of your MMJ! This Crumble was made correctly, and it is FIRE:) Speaking with Ryan today, I discovered they will be carrying a variety of concentrates including but not limited to Hash, Bubble Hash, Earwax, Shatter and Oils! As far as the term dabbing goes it is a general term used to describe the process of administration concerning concentrates. I for example use a Halo element with an E-GO CTwist battery (exactly like an electronic cigarette). For patients new to this aspect of MMJ please consult with your dispensary, doctor or someone in the know before you go out and blow several hundred dollars on stuff you don't need! Alright that will get you going:) For those who already are privy to this amazing form of consumption this stuff is really nice! EH is a drive from my pad (30mins) and I'd happily make the trip to see these friendly, knowledgeable and professional caregivers any day. T here with the word on a very unique strain brought to you exclusively from Nature Med! A.I. or 'Arizona Indica' a new strain for me and I'm certain for most patients, is an off-shot of Blue Widow. I'm going to go ahead and right now tell you it's hands-down a stronger more versatile strain, in my opinion. Right off the bat these very nice pungent buds are sticky, tight and look very similar to Blue Widow in terms of coloring; however, they maintain a higher degree of "indica" traits (i.e. purples, blues, mixed greens etc.) throughout. Let's get to it then:) This smoke is awesome! Very smooth with hints of earth, pine and a slight note of citrus. So I want to talk effects, because something called Arizona Indica sounds like a super heavy high to me and I'm sure to you as well. The truth is, yes it is definitively an indica by all rights. The thing is, I'm not locked to my chair nor do I feel the "fog" associated with a straight indica. The high is in-fact mildly up-lifting or rather not sedative in nature. If you consider the very "heady" or cerebral high, along with this amazing (not speedy) body buzz I'd equate it to a Heavy Cheese…if such a strain existed. So here's where I'm at with this medicine. I already did;) Go get you some!!

Lot of love for these folks today! Wow, it's nice to see hard work rewarded. So thank you everyone at The Apothecary for making lives more livable, pain-free and spaced-out! Purple NY Diesel, a lot of you have had the chance to try this FIRE so I'll keep it short. Try smelling the stuff and tell me if it isn't one of the strangest smells ever. A very good strange smell, but a unique scent that defines this strain, and makes her unmistakable. The buds are medium-large and are very fluffy glistening in trichromes and littered with orange hairs. Now, let's talk about taste because I cannot think of a way to describe this bud other than it tastes like purple berries (please see Futurama for details). Dan, I know you've been pouring maple syrup on everything, making buds taste like purple berries and what not;) Little joke, but seriously, smoking this strain is just the bee's knees! A perfectly cured Sativa, this strain is excellent for daytime use and boasts a wide range of medicinal uses, including but not limited to: pain management, depression, hunger, mood stabilization, nausea and a few more…you get the idea! So the word on Purple NY Diesel is set in stone, and I'm off to make fun of squirrels? Yes, I wrote that so maybe grab some Purple NY Diesel…why not;)

You know what time it is! T here with the word on Juicy Fruit from The Apothecary. What a crazy strain! I've never had the stuff, or heard of it till I saw it on the board today. Did a little digging and discovered it was developed by seed gods, Sensi Seeds, so you know this is some top grade heat to begin with; next, compound that with the fact its from one of Tucson's finest and we're talking serious meds here! This bud smells as good as it looks. Leafy, dense, and large buds with hints of purples and oranges are covered in glistening trichromes and maintains a spongy quality. The buds smell like sugar…literally, I cannot think of how else to describe the scent other than sugar with notes of flowers and citrus. They taste like they smell:) Which is an anomaly to me. In all my years I've never toked a plant that tastes like it smells, but that's alright with me…and it probably will be for you too, because she is a KILLER!! I took one hit when I started writing and before my fingers' hit the keyboard I was BLITZED! So two hits in now and I'm potentially levitating off my chair;) Point being, this is an awesome strain brought to you exclusively by The Apothecary, and you guys know I do not joke about my MMJ! T here with the word on a legendary strain, Blue Dream! Brought to you by my very goods friends' at Nature Med and toked by me all day:) It's been a minute since I've been in so heads-up these guys are packing some serious HEAT right now! Sean also gave the word on their next cultivation, and it looks like a fresh batch of tasty meds will be ready by next weekish:) These guys just don't stop! O.K. this was a Blue Dream review;) So …I grabbed a 1/4 from that 7 grams I have a 5.25g nugget of some of the strongest smelling and one of the most beautiful examples of this strain I've ever obtained! I really wish I could attach a photo for you guys it's borderline absurd! This is some FIRE ladies and gents, a lovely melody of flavors, crosses your pallet, when you hit this very smooth smoke. Including, but not limited to: cotton candy, anise, perfume, petrol (faint) and fresh morning flowers. That is a no-joke-smoke friends. The ability to blend that many distinct stand-alone characteristics into one plant speaks mountains about this strain and its origins. Better yet, it speaks mountains about the growers ability to grow! When this strain hits in approximately 5-30 seconds, you be ready to get BLOWN-OUT, I don't want to hear T didn't warn me not to smoke Blue Dream before my business meeting;) Seriously though, this is incredibly strong medicine and some of the best you will find in Tucson. Nature Med Inc. is always stepping their game up and I just want to take a second to thank them for all the hard work! I'm sure it gets said a lot but once more Tucson patients' are lucky to have you guys! Folks, these fine caregivers just don't do it if it's not up to par with the incredible standard they've set for themselves. T here keeping it short and sweet with the word on Medijuana from The Apothecary. A very unique strain with generally mild tones throughout. I cannot find any information on lineage, which is almost unheard of for me, so she remains a mystery as of now. A very nice hybrid with an excellent balance of sativa and indicas, which makes this strain great for day or evening medicating. Now the warning! This is very, very strong medicine with an approximate 25% THC content. Most of you that know me, know that I'm a big guy, who lives and breathes medicinal marijuana. I joke not when I tell you 1-2 pulls will set you straight! So, remember, if you're one to get anxious or paranoid take it easy with her because she will put you in your place quick! Top shelf buds all day at the spot! Go get you some:)

T here with the word on G-13 Haze from the Apothecary. First off, these are really nice darker buds with some very bright highlights that are super fluffy and covered in orange hairs. I'm actually surprised by the scent it's like cutting a lemon in half spooning out the guts and filling it in with earth. Very unique and very interesting, as we don't often see strains with a citrus/ earthy scent, it's usually one over the other. So let's toke:) Incredibly smooth smoke with a faint hint of pine on the back pallet upon exhale. A one-of-a-kind body buzz not to mention an uplifting high, and I'm only two hits in. This is a strain I've been trying to find for awhile now as G-13 is my favorite bud for days. So a G-13 hybrid with an original Haze has been on my hit list and I finally scratched her name off! Yes, please and thank you all day...TAKE MY MONEY;) Another winner from my good friends' at The Apothecary I will be back to see you ASAP for more! Oh my title just reminded me these upstanding folks are now accepting Debit Cards, so no more running to the bank for a twenty:) Just a heads-up as of now there is a 2 dollar "convenience fee" but who the heck cares if it saves a trip to the bank right?! Once upon a time there was an obnoxiously handsome prince;) And this prince had some serious health problems. So he searched the land far and wide to find an answer to what plagued him. I have been meaning to talk about this last harvest of GSC because its likely the strongest batch of the strain I have had yet. I suppose I should keep this short as most are familiar with this flower. So real quick, these buds are worth every cent, they are beautiful and pungent plus they carry that unmistakeable 'GSC' flavor all day! If you're looking for a strain that's great for after work then look no further, as she hits hard enough to make all your troubles' melt across the room. T here, back from Tahoe, with the word on Purple Passion from Nature Med Inc. (WARNING: I'm medicated so this should be fun)! Also, Sean thank you for recommending this FIRE MEDICINE TO ME!!! Now on to the review of perhaps one of the strongest smokes in Tucson! Gorgeous buds that are perfectly cured and trimmed, the hydro is SPOT and no joke these buds are so sticky you can actually tack it on the wall! Sean had told me about this unique characteristic, so I figured I'd see it for myself and sure enough like a Post-It Note it sticks, but a post-it that will get you high (very very high). So let's jive about flavor. She has a slightly harsh berry taste, on inhale, with that classic "purple" back-note, yet she's smooth as can be on the exhale. I'm four tokes in at 230 lbs and I am lit up like the night sky. The high is energetic and fun it is also hazy and irrational at times, if that makes any kind of sense, so blaze in moderation if you have plans;) I'm going to have to rank this as one of THE TOP FIVE SMOKES IN TUCSON at the moment! T here with the word on Deep Cheese from The Apothecary, and toking for Dan's sanity;) So Cheese has been a smash in town, and come on who doesn't love the stuff? But a strain of Cheese made from Cheese! That's like using hamburger patties instead of buns for your burger;) The result is spectacular though! The buds are very green with some slightly darker than others, the trichrome coverage on these nuggets is insane and the fluffy goodness does not stop there. She hits like a BEAST, with a no-joke one-toke head high that is smooth going down and tastes like Cheese only much more musky with hints of flowers on the inhale. The high is very cerebral in nature and definitely gave me some energy, so take it easy if you tend to get the jitters, as this strain is not going to let you down! On a side note my good friends at The Apothecary just got a mess of FIRE in…too many strains for one man to smoke:) So get over to the spot ASAP and grab some heat before its all gone. T here wake-n-baking for communal knowledge;) So, here is the word on Sour Kush brought to you by the Apothecary as smoked by me at 7am:) Ok these tight sticky buds are very musky and darker green than a typical kush. As is the usual with this fine establishment, my buds are trimmed proper, cured correctly and the hydro is spot on. I'd describe the flavor as a spicy petrol with (mild) hints of vanilla and menthol. She's got a great smoke as well, a bit on the harsh side, but what BOMB kush isn't? So it's morning and with my joints being stiff (please hold all jokes till the end;)~ I figured why not give this delicious new strain a try. Well, she does not let down in any facet! I packed a 1/2 a bowl (maybe 3 good pulls) I'm energized yet focused, my pain has subsided and I feel slightly upside-down! Why are wake-n-bakes always the best?
