Thanks Zach for the excellent customer service today. So happy to have my favorite cbx strains at the best prices in town. Medical patients get the shaft everywhere but at Essence. I appreciate it.

As a medical patient, paying $208 for a half ounce of premium Flower that I can get elsewhere for $175 is ridiculous. Probably why we only make the 30-minute drive once a year. We happened to be in the neighborhood today, or it would have been another year. People working here are very friendly, and they should be for what they’re charging you. The flowers are excellent for the most part, but I can get these excellent strains elsewhere for much less.

I was stoked when you guys announced lowering your prices, especially on flowers. As a medical patient on disability, it’s not easy to afford the new prices driven by the rec demand. I’m sad to see that the reason your prices are lower is because you now offer low quality flowers. That’s not a deal. Your happy hour specials don’t help me either. More low quality bargains. Yay. All I get is ripped off and a big headache from whatever wasn’t properly flushed out of this stuff. No thanks, I’ll pass.

This place is frustrating. My last visit took about 30 minutes despite knowing exactly what I wanted when I walked in. There is never consistency, except when it comes to chaos. It’s always chaotic. I was helped by an older woman who seemed rattled and unorganized, which is the new theme here. There’s yet another new computer system, which is their go-to excuse for being so slow. I’ve been hearing it for 5 years now, and its 4 or 5 new systems later. Apparently, these systems are all crap. The woman boasted that this new system was so great, it would keep the menu updated with their inventory. Now I’m staring at their Weedmaps and essence website and apparently, they’ve sold out of all but 5 products. Yep, you have 5 products available total on your menus. Thankfully, you’re no longer the lowest priced place in town. The other dispensaries are stepping up. I wish you could go back to your old ways. Back when medical patients felt cared for. We’ve been pushed aside for rec customers, and you need to remember who made you so successful in the first place.

One of two reasons I ever shopped here was because I could go through the lab results online and know exactly which strains will work for me. Now it’s just the THC percentage which sadly means nothing to a medical patient. All I care about are the terpenes. Your staff doesn’t like looking up numbers...and I don’t like that you’re making it more work to track down the meds I need. So I’ll see you when I see you. Might as well take my chances elsewhere...it will be cheaper and less frustrating.

Sometimes they have a great selection (not right now but sometimes) but the pricing is always higher for me here than the other dispensaries I go to that are closer to me. As a disabled person on a fixed income, pricing is everything. Paying over 200 for a half ounce is crazy, when I can get the same thing elsewhere for $20+ less. Only happens to me here. And I’m a medical patient. No longer a favorite, sadly.

Excellent delivery experience...thank you so much Eddy. I’m here to beg you to tell CBX, not to lose the Cherry Pie strain. As someone with multiple sclerosis among other chronic health issues, this is one of few strains that relieves a long list of symptoms and side effects. It’s also excellent for sleep. It’s a very versatile strain that is under appreciated by your average person. I know that the thc levels run low, but the terpene combination is ALWAYS PERFECTION. It is so hard to come by as it is, and I know the rec smokers don’t appreciate it because most of them have no clue about terpenes. I have a lot of 25% and above strains...even have had 30% and none are as effective as cherry pie (no matter the testing results). I wish you could set aside an ounce for me until December 26th...I know it will be gone by then :(

I miss the old Essence. No matter what method I try, I can’t manage to get the strains I need here anymore. They’ll be on the menu, but then I’m told, sorry, we’re out. Then they make bad recommendations for products that are just sub-par. I’m medical, so I’ve seen it decline since rec went legal. It’s a shame that they went from getting 95% of my business to about 20%. I know no one is concerned because the rec customers will buy anything. The customer service, friendliness, professionalism, general knowledge of products available, inventory accuracy, has all declined. I truly dread doing business with you now...the prices don’t make up for what’s happening.

I don’t know why the price I pay depends on the budtender I get. Some of them love to charge med patients rec prices, so always question the price. It’s always been wrong, in my case. I’ve been very fortunate to not deal with Nikkii before today. I will ask for someone else if I ever get her again. She was very rude, acted like she had better things to do, and tried to charge me full price on sale items. Definitely the worst customer service experience since they first opened.

This place used to be something different altogether. I don’t know what happened to the staff, but I’ve never met a less friendly group of guys. No product knowledge, zero customer service skills, no good recommendations, which makes me wonder if anything is worth the outrageous prices they charge (I won’t be finding out for myself), and the bud tenders always try to hit me with recreational prices when I’m a medical cardholder. They got away with it twice. Now I’m done.

In case you don't do research, it's the terpene profile that matters, not the THC levels. As a medical patient, this is one of two places I go to. Best quality products, great rewards program and awesome staff. I live on the opposite end of town, and it's worth the hassle of getting a ride out there.

I'm trying to figure out why tonight I am paying the same prices as a rec customer when I'm a medical patient? You state that the prices listed are Recreational, and when I asked, I was told I was charged the medical price. Yet I paid the price listed on weedmaps, which is the same as the rec patients price. I wish I knew the guy's name, but I will ask for another bud tender from now on or I won't make the purchase. I haven't had a problem when working with Mia and Micah. I saved my receipt, and I would just like for you to show me how I paid less than a recreational customer. Have Micah or Mia retrain the guy budtending tonight.
