Bait and switch pricing on concentrates- all of their stuff marked at lower prices is a different price when you get there and they don't honor the 10% concentrate discount on Wednesdays. I even called ahead of time to ask if they still had what I wanted and it was the price it said. Not sure why they said yes only for me to show up and to tell me its more + no discount. I drove a few miles back and went to HerbnJoy and paid the same price and got my discount. No wonder this place was completely empty and 2/3 of the employee's were on their phones. Manager was a complete moron unwilling to make the situation right. My visit was on 6/28/23 between 5pm and 5:15pm.

Stopped by for the first time today and I was very happy with my experience. The quality of bud here is excellent and can not be compared to what other shops in the area are offering. I'm a very picky sensitive smoker and I also am on a tight budget so I am probably the hardest type of patient to please. The selection is huge and it all is on the same level pretty much - I didn't really notice a top, middle and bottom shelf system like you normally see - it was all top shelf just prices were different as to what was on special . I was told they change it up with what's on special quite frequently. I was looking for one of their banana strains as I love banana terps. They had a few different strains that had some sort of banana in them and I got lucky the Banana OG was on special for 35. Can't wait to try the concentrate selection - priced a bit high at 40 but they have specials on Thurs for crumble and Sat for shatter. Both looked fantastic so I will for sure be trying those out asap.

Stopped by Herbal Wellness Center today to try out their concentrates, they are not priced very competitively and it was not for the buy one get one first time patient deal I would not have stopped by. Front desk girl could have been more welcoming. She was on the phone when I walked in and didn't acknowledge me at all. Selection was kind of slim. I had like 3 or 4 shatters to choose from, no crumbles. Samples were pretty beat up - I'm glad i didn't choose based on what the samples looked like because I would have missed out on the Donna OG, sample didn't look so hot but it was the only indica concentrate so I grabbed it anyways. Along with the Donna I got the Space Cough based on my budtender's recommendation. Space Cough - Sativa dominant high for sure. Burns smooth on a ti nail, inhales smooth, exhales smooth as well. High is a uplifting one, not very strong though. It would take a few dabs to get me properly medicated. I enjoyed it, it was very clean and enjoyable to smoke. Donna OG - This was def more of a sap consistency, little to no stability. Vapes very very smooth, great inhale and exhale. High was nice and heavy, indica dom for sure. Overall I enjoyed the meds and the service was fine. I would certainly return if the prices were lower.

So I'll start off by saying that they do have solvent extracted concentrates here, they call them "Super Critical Concentrates" or something along those lines. Once I made it clear to the budtender that I was not interested in the full melts, he showed me what they had in the "Super concentrate" section. The display was not ideal if you wanted smell or take a close look at anything and the budtender wasn't pulling anything out to show me either so it is hard to really judge other than color which appeared to be good. When I asked the price I was told $60 a gram - WHAT THE FUCK???? How can you seriously still be selling concentrates for $60 a gram? The only patients that must buy this stuff must have no idea that they can have the same quality 1 block away for at least $10 less - and they really must not know that a half a mile to a mile away there's a spot with $25 grams of top notch extracts on wednesday - 35$ every other day of the week. My point of mentioning this is to question Perennial Holistic Wellness Center to find out why they think they have to charge $60 when other places can manage to charge $25??? This place is NOT non profit but rather every deal you'll find here will be making them at least double what they paid. Ontop of all the profiteering thats so blatantly slapped in your face here the staff is stuck up and rude. Told me I couldn't find anything for $25 a gram, then when I told him otherwise told me it wasn't the same quality - well I know enough to tell you that I can and I did, right after i walked out of this terrible compassionless place. With that being said - the quality looked good on what I saw, if the prices weren't so insanely overpriced I would have loved to have tried their wares. Sadly this is not a place of compassion which should start with your prices. I didn't take a look at their herb but looking at their menu now they have a terrible selection and what they do have is extremely over priced too, even their cheapest shit - Greenhouse Blue dream for 45 an 1/8th??? You can get Indoor Blue Dream at almost any other dispensary in southern California. And then $65 for their top shelf??? Its not even a strain you cant find everywhere else these days - this spot is out of control on their prices and I thought it was just with their concentrates. I do not recommend this spot to anyone, if you currently get your medicine from here please do yourself a favor and seek out cheaper medicine - don't support spots like this any longer than they need to be supported, they need to lower their prices and stop ripping patients off. Oh and the waiting room is terrible - its a tiny closet sized sectioned off space with NO air conditioning - I was seriously getting dizzy filling out my paperwork which took me twice as long because i couldn't even think. Put some damn shades up or something!! So many little things here ontop of all the big ones that show the people here have little to no care about their patients.

A friend was looking for edibles closeby so we came by here. Unfortunately the dude at the front had such an attitude he couldn't see past it to find the homies verification website for his rec. He eventually found it and I think felt pretty stupid. Luckily the lady inside was chill and hooked us up with what we came for and didnt have the same attitude . I was hoping for the cookies that they never seemed to have and was in luck this time. We grabbed some of those and the red velvet cakes - unfortunately everything was $6 this time - a mere $1 to some but to be honest that's almost a whole nother piece. Checked out the wax - looked pretty wack and was in prepared containers that you couldnt even open up to smell so we obviously passed. For referring I got $10 off my NEXT 1/8th which was pretty lame since I don't really dig the weed here or how it's priced. The 55 stuff looks decent but I would be fine paying maybe 45 at most - what they offer at that is mids / blunt stuffing at best. Cookie- a nice medium sized cookie- it looks like it was cut out of a sheet cookie or something. Tasted extremely strong of marijuana- no bad aftertastes but theres no questioning wether or not this cookie is medicated. About 1-2 hours later everyone was feeling their cookies. Another hour or 2 and some dabs later and it was lights out. Stayed asleep much longer than normal and didn't wake up with the usual stomach issues I normally wake up with but I did feel still slightly medicated. I was in the area dropping off and renting movies at blockbuster so I talked my girlfriend into stopping by no ho cc to get some yummy medicated treats to go with our Christmas movies and possibly something to stuff the swisher stockings with too. The location is really nice and convenient. Street parking but it's lankershim, a really nice big and easy street to park on. Very safe neighborhood with all the bike security dicking around and cops swarm the neighborhood and parking police scour the meters. Luckily for us it was well after 6. Verification was quick and painless, went through the gate and door and met Yuri who greeted us. Right away I noticed there weren't any cookies again - Yuri mentioned someone comes amongst daily and buys almost all of them. Can't wait to try them - if this jerk ever let's anyone else have any!! Went with the chocolate chip banana and red velvet, 2 of each, one for free for my girlfriends first time. I took a look at the menu and noticed a new highlighted strain - purple og, and Yuri told me that yes the hilighted strain is their special deal. The mars og I had last time wasent bad and this purple og reeked of purple kush so I had to snag it. Got a gram for 15 and then I also wanted to try their top shelf and was liking the yodas brain but Yuri assured me I should go with the abusive og so I got a gram of that for $20. $50 total I was a pretty happy camper. I was also happy to see a few different waxes this time too that looked decent. I didn't ask the price but I wasent looking to donate on any wax as I am currently up to my ears in wax. Another great visit, bomb effective yet inexpensive edibles and some bomb blunt stuffing for a merry night! Chocolate chip banana bread - split this up into 4 pieces - ate one piece every 45 mins or so until it was gone. Progressively got more and more stoned until we were both in comas killing ourselves to keep our eyes open to finish our movie. Was so delicious too - very moist but drys out quickly. The chocolate chip center melts in your mouth. Purple og - fairly beefy dense and spongy nugs of both green and purple through out. A super sweet earthy smell that's very strong and pungent. Everything is covered in trichomes and hardly any stems or leaf. Burns nice and smooth to a Grey-white ash and turns to a rich and spicy earthy sweet and very expansive flavorful smoke. High knocked me down a notch with exhale, engulfing me in a wave of calmness and dragging me to a relaxed spacey state. Abusive og - lighter green nugs, fairly large and dense but somewhat airy and leafy -and I don't mean sugar leafy. I was actually way more impressed with the purple og then the abusive looks wise. Burns not quite to a white ash, took a couple lights and was a bit harsh of a smoke. High was heavy and heady and creeps to my eyes. Wears off relatively fast though. No idea why I'd get top shelf here again, the budget strain blew it out if the water and please rather then disappointed. The abusive had a nice medicated effect but weak after its initial momentum. I was a pretty disappointed in the flower but the edibles were very good. I noticed on the top shelf there was tons of tiny nug and lots of leaf left on that should go to hash / edibles making. Or more compassion on the scale - my purple og was 1.1 which is cool and abusive was 1.0 but the abusive was so leafy and shit compared to the purple og. Oh well they both got rolled up after a sample bomb load if each - barely enough to roll 2 small blunts. Oh well, edibles were still dank though! Thanks again and happy dabbing, I'll have to maybe brave it and try the wax next time.

My girlfriend was complaining of cramps and body aches all weekend so I thought it would be a good idea to get her an edible. We also had to return a movie at blockbuster on lankershim and I recalled reading some reviews that didn't have much to say but they did say NHCC has some bomb edibles. But with no menu its taken me this long to come in but boy am I glad I did and can't wait to go back. Upon walking in the door after parking right in front on lankershim, I immediately got a huge whiff of dank. Impressed already I walked up to the checkin window and was greeted by a friendly gentleman who asked politely for my paperwork and gave me some to fill out. After that I was let through the doors and into the budroom and greeted by a lovely lady bud tender who was helping another customer but was kind enough to greet me walking in. My turn came and right away I saw what I was looking for, a whole shelf display full of freshly assorted edibles that looked like they melted in your mouth through the packaging! I couldn't get over the selection either, I saw brownies, lemon poppy seed bread, red velvet cake, banana bread, carrot cake, chocolate chip banana bread, and an empty spot for cookies - it was like edible heaven. Here comes the best part - I asked the donation price and was so ecstatic to hear "$5 each" in response! I was expecting to at least be told $10, these were some very large pieces of cake and the freshness is so visible and priceless. I was then told I'd also get one for free it being my first time! So I got an assortment of 8 different edibles for 35$! I then asked about the bud, and was directed to the menu screen, only about 15-20 strains I think I saw on there, nothing over 55 a 1/8th which I love to see of course! But what I loved to see even more was hi lighted in green was a 15/45 mars of strain - I asked to see it and it looked like stuff I'd see elsewhere for 55-60. Smell was so strong and fresh of minty pine fuel I had to ask to donate for a gram. On the menu it was up there between the 20/55 stuff so it's really nice the menu is so honest here. And the staff was so nice and polite and gave off great vibes. Truly seemed like people who enjoy doing what they do - making patients happy! Edibles tasted great and effect was felt after one hour and taking only 1/4th of the piece of cake so far. After 1/2 the cake over a 2 hour period I really felt it start to kick in. I can't wait to come back and seeing as I walk by here all the time and live 5 mins away driving I'll be back all the time! Can't wait to try the rest of my selection of edibles and hopefully will get to try the cookies next time as it was the only one out and I got one of each at least of what was there. Mars og - dense chunky Christmas tree shaped nugs covered in frost and tangled with strong dark red-orange hairs. A tad bit leafy but well manicured and plenty of dense chunky nug. Burns smooth to a white ash and filled my lungs with a smooth flavorful smoke that was easy to take a nice fat snap through my roor. Effect is a nice middle ground high - felt behind the eyes and very heady, headache was relieved that I had before the hit. Flavor was earthy fuelish with a tad of sweetness. What a great find and my gram was weighed out fat ontop of it! Fatter than any 20$ gram I've ever bought that's for sure, and the darkest $15 gram in a minute thats for sure! Wow- what a great find! I can't wait to check out more of their strains, all that I read appeared to be normal strains and not some Mickey mouse bs. I'm even more happy to see they don't charge more than 55 an 1/8th and well my whole visit was nothing but happy! I asked about concentrates and they said they do have earwax normally but were all out. Can't wait to check that out hopefully next time too! I'd highly recommend this spot to anyone requiring more potent edibles and anyone wanting to save some money on edibles as well. I'm no herbologist but I am picky about my bud and I've got to say even the budget mars og gram I picked out was so amazing! Unlike anything I've seem for $45 an 1/8th lately. Well I was in my old neighborhood for thanksgiving dinner visiting my family and needed something to hold me over for the day. I'd done some research at home and seen WVC had a nice concentrate menu as well as the Sour D I was looking for so when I pulled up my weedmaps app it took me a minute to find the right collective but I did pass up like 3 or 4 collectives and one even has a really similar name throwing me off even more. Location was hard to find between all the other places and not having much for a sign out from and the competition has murals. My orthodontists office from when I was 14 was in the same alley so I parked there since we missed the front completely driving down Ventura. Once I found the place I found there is a parking lot you can pull into. There was a sign but not very noticeable. The collective itself only has an open sign identifying it and a solid door with no bell or anything telling you you're at the right location or we're open. I'd called before heading over to make sure they were open and they were, guy on phone was really polite. Walking up to the door I knocked, knocked again, and waited and knocked, and finally it does something and buzzes me in. Verification was pretty fast and easy. Not much of a wait, decent waiting room but nothing to do but stare at a wall. Once let in the budroom has clothing and apparel, smoking supplies, and the meds of course. I was helped fairly quickly and went right into taking a look at some bud. I let my budtender know what I liked, I had a pretty good idea what I wanted before coming in, just had to make sure it looked good. She showed me some Private reserve og that looked nicely trimmed compared to the other 2 ogs I asked to see after that. Wasn't impressed with the other 2 but the Private reserve was nice enough to take home. Then I asked to see the sour d but was shown sour jack first, since I wasn't a fan of jack I asked to still see the diesel. Unfortunately it looked way too fresh and unrippened for my taste. Had a very fresh cut look with lots of leaf left on too. Had to skip that even though I was crazing some sour d and just went ahead and asked for something similar thats better grown, and another budtender who seemed to be in charge told my budtender to show me the green crack and thats what I went with. When I asked to see the concentrates my hopes of finding a concentrate hot spot were crushed. What I was shown I've thrown away similar looking stuff myself. It appeared to be garbage, dark color, specs and darker swirls through both samples I saw and was even assured by a local patient who was in the budroom that the "gods gift" would for sure get the job done - it saddens me that people are actually medicating with this stuff. I guess you have to have cheaper options for certain patients but that wax I was shown was terrible. Didn't take the time to see what the issues with it were as I'm pretty good at telling, this appeared to have multiple issues as I didn't even know where to begin. I was told they have the best and biggest selection in the valley but just sold out the day before because they had a special - sounded like a cool special - buy an 1/8th get 2 grams of wax for 50 . I doubt it was the 50$ a g wax. Hopefully next visit their menu is kept up to date and I'm not left so disappointed coming in. The bud was ok - burned kind of harsh taking a couple burns but did go to a white ash - wasen't the smoothest smoke that's for sure but not the worst. Green crack tasted really nice and sweet, the private reserve was extra piney and fuelly. Buds were fairly dense and squishy and caked in trichomes on the green crack and stacked up on the private reserve. These two flavors contrasted nicely and so did the highs, pr was just heavy enough to crash me out coming down a couple hours after my thanksgiving dinner. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, I appreciated this collective being open on the holidays. Now that I know how to find the place I would have liked to have seen a more accurate menu and better concentrates. The black messes I saw don't even look to be safe let alone potent and your selection was def not the best in the valley but I will hopefully be able to check out what they were out of in a couple days, hopefully they update their menu accurately so I can find out as I'm not going to call in every time I want to know what's in or show up without knowing what's in. I was in Green Dragon the other day with my girlfriend and unfortunately my visit was a bit concerning. We were being helped by Taylor when an African American patient walked in. (looked like a bum with a rec to me) The little puppy they have is a bit playful and I imagine neglected if he's kept in a busy collective all day so when he went to play with the man who walked in greeting the dog and then when he was jumping up the guy smacked the dog with extreme force across the mouth. I'm not sure if anyone but us saw it and we were just absolutely shocked and appalled. Got out of there as soon as possible, sick to our stomaches. I've heard a girl at the desk one time complaining about someone hitting the dog too. My girlfriend was playing with the dog while I made my selection which was kandy wax and king og wax and yeah he's a bit rough and scratched her, but that's when you tell a dog no and to sit. He also was chewing on her sleeves and left blood on her sleeve, very nerve wrenching and makes me wonder how this dog is being treated. This isn't a puppy daycare either, the hair I find in my wax makes sense now. As for the medication, selection is diminishing, the low end selection that's been on the shelves since I started coming here is slowly dwindling away, there was 3 decent selections, kandy, blue dream, and king og, all looked to be made by same person, all looked totally dehydrated. Kandy Wax - a light yellow tan color with a dry smooth texture that breaks off fairly nice into chunks that stick and press together easily. Smells sweet and musky. Burns very clean and to a rich white smoke that enters the lungs smooth and exits just as smooth as it came in. Flavor is a mild sweet that lingers in the nostrils and back of the throat. Effect was a indica Dom high, heavy in every sense and multiple dabs can lead to couch lock. King og - a dull tan beige color with a dry smooth texture again that breaks off and sticks to itself a little less easily. Smells, not much. Super quick clean vape on the nail. High is mild, not very strong, a head buzz with a decent heaviness but doesn't last too long. Not the king og wax I know and love and pay the same price for in the past. Blue dream - got to sample this from a friend, was the best tasting of the bunch and high wise it was a really nice potent functional sativa high. White tan in color, same smooth dehydrated texture. Hope you guys are taking proper care of that dog if you're keeping him on the collectives property. No one should ever hit an animal, especially if he's not even yours. The wax is looking better, hope to see something dank on the shelves soon. An update would be nice but it seems every time we ask we don't see one for 2 months. How about showing some patient appreciation? Not a single special on any day of the week, sometimes you show love on the scale but not always. The wax used to be good enough to not complain but that seems to have been a fluke as I haven't seen anything of top quality come out here for a while.

Made it into Green Dragon today, haven't been in since my birthday on the 18th when I got some nice sour d and silver surfer but my first taste of def star cake batter was enough for me to despise the new cake batter concentrates appearing on the menu lately. I was really disappointed with the def star from last visit and was really hoping that the cake batters were a fluke but seems from talking to the guys today that the maker prefers making it like this and it's probably going to keep coming out that way. I was happier to see the prices dropped to what they should be and only 1-2 cake batter selections so maybe the assumptions and worries of it sticking around are wrong. I was a bit concened when I was told the cake batter was preferred. In argument I couldn't get any reasons and they agreed with all my reasons to the quality being better in he past so I hope we can figure out the communication issue here and get who ever is making our medicine to listen to the patients concenrns if its just a matter of preference, I prefer my medicine to taste good and complete but the quality has nothing to do with preference. Guys were cool as always, easy going, laid-back, Taylor hooked me up with a bomb bud recommendation - platinum og. Was shown black mamba at first but when I asked for something a bit more fuely he brought out the platinum og. The difference in smell was precisely what I asked for, the mamba was kind of sweeter smelling where as the plat had much more of a fuely stank with still a tad of sweetness, more lemony sweet then a berry or sugary sweet. I also snagged a half g of killer og wax but again there was lots of new stuff and I was talking way too much to pay much attention to the others, looked along the same lines though so that was good. If you get a chance just take a whiff of the cake batter and something that's dry and dehydrated and ignoring the smell try and tell the difference in the potency or power of the smells. The cake batter could just be water contamination, too much heat, different materials used, not sure but it's not good and it's not better. Hope we never see it again after what remains falls off the shelves. Platinum og - it's always nice to experience the difference of flavors and highes between clean quality concentrates and clean quality flowers. Unfortunately I stick to concentrates because things like mold and improper flushes cures and grows make me paranoid and agitated and are sometimes hard to avoid, especially when you're not an expert at what it is you are dealing with. I wasen't sure what I was going to find wax wise today so I went in today intending to buy flowers but picked my wax first. When my budtender asked me if i wanted anything else instead of saying no I said yes and asked for a recommendation of the best. Taylor was right on with his second recommendation for what I asked for. Fuely smell flavor and crisp aftertaste on this one. Buds are all sorts of shapes and sizes, typical chunkily stacked buds with resist orange hairs all covered in a frosting of trichomes. not very stemmy or leafy, some natural sugary leafiness left on but fan leaves seemed well taken care of. High was noticeable after one small snap, my headache from the DMV slowly resided and I got warm behind the eyes and in about 5 mins I was slowly findng myself more and more relaxed. Effect stayed on pretty heavy until I could refill the bowl with a larger snap. Packing the 2nd snap I really noticed how sticky it was and how vibrant the colors were from the light green at the base to the dark green tips. I noticed it even more so when I sparked the bowl and watched it almost ignite up like it had hash on it and then burned at a nice pace to a white ash. Full rich flavors fill my lungs and within moments after exhale my eyes drop, get get heavy and an amazing relaxing feeling over came me immediately. Fades to a creeping buzz, after taste is so fuely fresh and fills your mouth and lungs and lingers for ever. So stumped at why I could pay $50 an 1/8th for this seemingly perfectly grown flushed cured manicured and cared for bud when most places charge 60$+ and in no way shape or form provide me with all of what I mentioned I recieved here at green dragon today. Killer og wax - ok so as if some extremely fresh and potent nugg wasen't enough to make me forget all the horrible sites and experiences had at the lovely DMV today I snagged a half g of the killer og. Got hooked up fat with .7 on my HALF g which is so appreciated. Looks dry and crumbly with a light tan color and a white tan on one side of the chunk. Smells mildly of the fuely piney lemony scent I like, smelled nothing like previous killer og waxes though, much sweeter and chocolaty hashy. Burns smooth and rather instantaneously, tastes clean and rich of full piney fuely sweet flavor with more piney than sweet. Exhale is smooth with a medium sized expansion that infiltrates and tingles the nostrils. High is heavy but functional and clears the mind and relaxes the body. One small dab of this quality concentrate probably equals 4 or 5 large bong loads when it comes to how long a high lasts and how potent a high is. By my 2nd dab I feel like I've smoked a fat blunt to my dome. So efficient, so effective. Highs are alot less lethargic with wax compared to flower IMO. Strain matters but when you take a functional indica Dom og wax and functional indica Dom flower and compare them I still get a lethargic/ burnt out feeling I'd get with almost any bud. Just something I've noticed comparing this killer wax to the platinum bud. What a refreshing visit. Great to see some dehydrated goodness back on those shelves and cracking like they should be. Hope to see that cake batter off them forever one day. Totally stoked about the platinum being so amazing for someone whos so picky about thier flowers. I didn't just enjoy it or feel satisfied, I freaking loved it and was able to get stoned on pure raw ganja which is hard to do with these waxy lungs and concentrated tolerance! Peace and dabs to all, even the haters, if your looking for a time to head to the dragon, they look heavily equipped for the army of patients that head here from all over!

I had to come to Green dragon on my birthday so me and Serius Reef headed on down there to see what they had for me on my day of birth. I had renewed my rec the previous day so I had to fill out first time patient paperwork again, no first time patient gift though :( Upon approaching the concentrate counter Serius already had Gabe pull out the good stuff, I was disappointed to see the def star not far off from what I last saw it at and chose not to get it. I asked Gabe what was up with it and he said he thought it was the best it's been so I went with his word. I wasen't digger the new ear waxy silly putty cake batter playdough texture at all but all the usual 45 selection was like this. The sour d smelled amazing and was the lovely dehydrated chunky goodness texture that I've come to love and cherish and the silver surfer looked amazing as well so I split an 1/8th 3 ways with def, diesel, and silver. Got the hook up on the scale this time for my bday, don't remember if I was charged 120 or 130 because I handed 150 and didn't count my change. Def star og wax - looks like silly putty and doesn't smell anything like def star has in the past, hardly any smell at all really. Distinctly bubbles before turning to vapor when it hits the ti nail. Not much flavor, delayed lung expansion and a moderate functional high. Mild after flavor that slightly burns the nostrils. Not the def star I know and love. Had the lighter color this time but this different texture is wack. Seems under done or done differently. Not the dehydrated goodness I've come to love. I hope they don't keep these at the same donation that the strains usually warrant. Burning harsh flavor from the moment it hits my throat, unpleasant all the way through with the dry piece and really really harsh and choking. Sour d wax - nothing but dehydrated loveliness here. Light tan yellowish hue with a cheesy fuelly skunky smell that prepares the taste buds for something special. At first I was like "ugh" sour d? But when Gabe pulled up that jar and I got a wif I knew it was coming home with me. Dehydrated cratered out solid chunks of honey combed waxy greatness thats easy to chip off chunks to dab or drop or scoop. Burns off the nail straight to vapor - smooth cheesy flavor on the dry piece with a high that creeps on strong and a Similar effect through the water pipe with a creepier high and smoother hit. Silver Surfer wax - another wonderfully dehydrated selection that smells fruity chocolately and hashy all in one mildly sweet whiff. Burns ever so smoothly on the dry piece straight to vapor and into pure mellowly sweet flavor that lingers for a bit leaving my taste buds wanting more. Delayed lung expansion that comes with a nice heady rush that also warms the face and creeped into a relaxing body high. Lighter lung expansion and a slightly smoother flavor through the water pipe. So the def star cake batter wasen't very enjoyable but the others more than made up for it. Not sure what's up with the cake battered waxes but they just aren't my thing I guess. The highs potent and it's not dirty but seems like they aren't using the same method or something rent wrong with these or they just didn't finish???? I'm not sure but it's not the same and its surely not better than it has been. The sour d was amazing though, super cheesy flavor and super clean just like I'm used to from gd. Well I was told to call up and ask how the $45 selection looks so I did and surprisingly i was given a straight answer, yes, it does look good right now so I rush on over. Everyone was on the shelf today, unfortunately the only one I was really happy with for the 45$ donation was the king og. The def and killer looked more like cake batter and orangey than before. Not my cup of tea, I've never had texture like this from here before but Alias telling me King was the best right now told me my suspicion of the others could be right. Nothing has ever been bad or looks bad but the quality that was there has clearly changed on a few strains, I asked Alias what was up and it seems this was just a less potent batch. Would have liked to see the prices match. I was also told I have to pay $130 an 1/8th from now on which is cool but i was made to feel like a jerk for not assuming I'd be charged $10 more than usual and bringing exact cash. I was given it one last time for $120 but honestly if they didn't have the king I wouldn't have paid 130$ for the usual stuff I would pay double for. It all worked out and next time I know to bring 130 an 1/8th. I hope the quality goes back in the direction it was headed before. King og wax - pungently fresh smell of ocean grown forests packed into these chunks of golden light tan with a dehydrated and grainy texture. Dabs fairly easily, sort of goes to crumble but sticks to itself fairly easily. Burns instantly on the hot ti nail and envelopes into a refreshing almost cheesy fresh tasting vapor with no harshness or burning and a mild lung expansion. There's what I can only describe as a cheesey aftertaste that really surprised me. The smell is just as ocean grown fresh smelling as def star and killer usually are, I can't really smell any cheese, but first thing I taste is what I can only describe as cheesy and it comes out even more in the aftertaste. It's a very nice change of pace. The high was very functional at first yet extremely heavy and kind of creeps into a more indica sided high, but still leaving you buzzed too. Body felt very nice and relaxed, no pain and my head neck and back felt pressureless from the usual tight tension it endures. I had a lucemia patient respond extremely well to this one too and mentioned how it got him social and talking and able to endure his pains and actually relieve them. He was totally new to wax as well so the increased potency from flowers was also amazing to see what it can so for some people who really need it. Thanks again green dragon, can't wait to see some fresher batches of def star and killer and the king was great! Keep up the hard work and I'll make sure to have $130 an 1/8th next time. Serius Reef has been getting me to venture outside of my armadillo shell lately and on multiple ventures we've almost stopped off at DTPG so we decided to actually take an adventure over there to the jungle that is DTLA. Parking was hectic to say the least and being in downtown LA more confusion than you have to deal with is never fun. You pull in their center only to be told to go out, around the corner and park in a lot across the street. I wasn't driving so we got there safe and quick and easy since Sirius knew what we were doing but i was confused and I wasn't even driving. Walking up to the collective there was tons of activity going on out out front, made it in and was told to fill out paper work so I did and we waited. And we waited some more, and then Serius complained and then we were greeted by Jinx, a friendly looking fella who introduced himself and spoke like he was reading a script. Before entering the bedroom we got a speech and after being shown through the door left on our own in this jungle of a warehouse. Hash bar was right to your left walking in, a small concentrate selection and then the case going around the rest of the giant room was full of bud jars. Theres no 1 line to wait in so you just walk up to a line in front of a bt and wait. Place was packed full of pushy people so it was one of the more uncomfortable experiences I've had. Made it to a budtender and quickly told him I was here to see their concentrates. What I was shown didn't look very good, possibly underdone oils that did not look worthy of a 50$ a gram price tag. I was a bit disappointed looking at the selection and wasn't about to pay $50 a gram for something that didn't look trustworthy let alone potent. Smelled nice, light sweet smell but nothing spectacular. My budtender didn't tell me a single thing bout the concentrates, not 1 suggestion before seeing I was unhappy and hearing I knew what I was talking about he asked if what i wanted was "the good stuff". I was hoping for 50$ a g it all would be good stuff but he told me there was "the good stuff" in the back but it was more. I would rather pay more for the best rather than less for the worst so I asked to see it. When he returned I was shown a container that was clearly taken out of the fridge, still having moisture on the inside. I asked and it was confirmed it came from a fridge. It looked better, like a nice grainy wet texture, had a sweet hashy scent, but for 60$ a gram I decided to give only a half g a try. Budtender brought my stuff over to someone else and told me to get in line to pay him. I paid and that was it. Went over to the hash bar next where we met Samantha, a very lovely lady who took shed some light on our adventure. Serius had warned me of a magnificently beautiful bud tender here and upon entering the room it was more than obvious who that was and boy was my buddy happy to see her. Hooked Serius up with referral goodies and gave me a FTP gift bag. While my buddy was in la la land I was still perplexed by what I'd seen and purchased so I was eager to try something. I was a bit disappointed with the rigs set up - there was vapor domes but not 1 titanium nail!!!!??? How could this be???? I can't complain too much because the beauty behind the torch was enough of a distraction. The dabs unfortunately I can't say were as pleasurable. Harsh from inhale to exhale and the poor taste and burn down my throat stayed with me the entire car ride back to the valley. I was a bit worried to get back home and try the half gram I paid a price i could have had a full gram else where for which left me with another bad taste in my mouth. The good stuff - no name on container, no name told to me, just told it was the good stuff. Well I'm glad I didn't go with the bad stuff but this still wasn't very good. My speculations of the moisture were right on, burned with a bit of a sizzle and left a burn in your throat after exhale. Tasted like cotton candy but the exhale burn was enough to ruin it. Tasted and smelled clean at least, just shouldn't be charging 60$ a gram for something like this. Well besides Samantha I felt like the trip was less then satisfactory for me. I didn't like the total lack of attention that every patient is entitled to and I felt like i was at a soup kitchen and I had to pay to get something decent should be entitled to. All mmj patients should be entitled to clean quality affordable concentrates, all 3 of those criteria's need to be considered when buying concentrates. Over priced AND under par never go nicely together. Sorry DTPG, good luck and happy healthy hearty dabbing to you guys, hope I shed some light on some issues that maybe you guys could work on.

Well I think everyone knows how much I love this place already but I haven't been able to write a review for a while and all the other places I've been to during this time were unsatisfactory and I wound up over paying on top of it reminding me why I stay so loyal to green dragon. I made 2 different visits, one with vivarob who's first visit I missed unfortunately but was super stoked to accompany him on his return visit. Luckily they had some awesome stuff in, I was able to grab a split 1/8th of def star and killer og, 2 of my favorites. 120 an 1/8th for this quality of concentrates is only fair. It stumps me when I find out there are places charging 85$ a gram for something I'm not even assured will be as good let alone better. I'm really happy and grateful that we have places like green dragon who aren't trying to rob patients of every last dollar just to pay their rent. Green Dragon is doing some really amazing things and are continuing to keep at it. My second trip I wasn't as lucky, went with Serius Reef, selection was rather bare so I went with a lower priced option the great white og marked at 40 a g. I would have hated to be someone driving out from a distance this day, not that the cheaper selection is bad, just inferior and the superior stuff is what we've come to love and cherish. I complain every time im in about the no menu updates but my complaints seem to be ignored or just not getting to then person in charge of updating or maybe they deliberately aren't updating to make me go crazy but I just can't see how it's too hard to update the menu. At least an email list informing us when things hit the shelves. I hope our needs can be accommodated on this issue better, we just want to know when the stuff we hold out for comes in. My last time complaining Gabe and Anthony told me to just call up and inquire about how the 45$ selection is looking so that's what I'll do from now on, most places are sketch bout that stuff over the phone but Green Dragon has nothing to be sketch about - I love the honesty here and the clean quality meds are a direct result of that honesty. If a question can't be answered I'm never told a lie or anything other than "I'm not sure" or "I don't know" no drawn out lies or contradicting statements. Def star og wax- was alot darker this time, was a bit hesitant to pick it up but glad I did. Same crisp clean og forest smell, texture was pretty grainy and easy to dab with. Burned smooth with a bit more of an expansion and high was much heavier leaving me pretty couch locked and sleepy even were the other batches were really functional highs. Same great taste and smell just wasn't expecting something so heavy with this strain. Was really nice regardless. Killer og wax- this stuff has had me curious and pondering since I first got to try it. Smell is amazingly fresh and strong, texture is a bit wet to the eyes but super grainy and stable when touched. Burns super smooth and creates a very heavy smoke with a huge expansion. Super fresh taste that really tells how clean it is. Awesome texture, unique, could fool the unknowing dabber but nonetheless it's golden goodness for sure earns it's price tag and is some of the more potent stuff I've had since original def star. Much heavier high than the def star. Great white og wax- this was one of the lighter colored lower priced waxes. Has a hashy og scent to it with a crumble to dust texture. Not a fan of the crumble to dust stuff not only because of the difficulty to dab with factor but they tend to be less potent, requiring multiple dabs when other stuff I can take one and be fine for hours. Smell wasn't as strong or potent I like either. Burns smooth and clean with a nice fast acting high that's nice and heady. I actually had a head ache and within 10 seconds of exhaling I felt the pain go away. During that 10 seconds I immediately felt the headiness push the pressure out of my head. Great medicine. Green dragon is one of the most fair collectives and in my experiences one of the only collectives not taking advantage of both their patients and the medicine they supply. Stopped by today with fellow reviewer 91malibuchemdawg who has been lucky enough to try the def star a couple times now and I'm sure he will tell you all what he thinks about it better than mother goose on dabs herself. Today we were lucky enough to not only had been dabbed on def star before coming in but greeted with the pleasant site of a fresh full jar of def star og wax. This stuff goes fast and while menu updates are few to none it has managed to bounce off and on the shelves just as it comes and goes. The selection here is huge which says wonders about the def star. The selection is also always changing - if anything returns it always returns better than the last batch and I almost always like what's new. I left with another gram of def star og wax to replenish my depleating stash. Thanks for keeping this stuff in fairly consistently, hopefully one day the menu updates will be this consistent. Def star og wax - what I added to my jar today looked no different than what I put in it from a couple batches ago. Golden dehydrated tricome goodness - with that og aroma that's to die for and I can even taste it when I smell it. As soon as this hits the nail it vapes no bubble crackle sizzle or fourth of July firworks display. Just omg og goodness flavor thats so rich and potent followed by what I think we described as a heavyness of your entire face as opposed to just behind your eyes. The looks on this stuff alone impresses anyone with even a little wax making experience. Thanks again for making a difference Green Dragon. I hope things stay this way - always improving!

Came in wih my buddy Sirius Reef yesterday, my def star was extremely low and since I already knew they'd be out, I could feel the disturbance in the force as I walked in. Luckily the rest of the selection has been improving slowly as everyone eats the def star up. Sadly there are few to no menu updates so unless you have a strong enough bond with the def star that you can feel it's force like I can, you won't know when this amazing strain is in. There are a few other waxes that are in the same ball park as the def star og but not the same effect. King og and fire og looked great, there was something for $35 that lokoked bomb but had plant matter from a blow back hense the price which even I almost scooped up, it was probably amazing. I went with the Afgoo and the hawaiian fire x og. I really loved seeing the water hash and gooey earwaxes diminish from the selection here. There is now NO earwaxes (the gooey stuff) and very little selection of water hashes and new yummy waxes taking their places. Afgoo wax - very easy to work with, starts in a honey combed chunk and breaks into chunks that form together to make dabs with ease. Both light and dark shades of tan on this one with a really sweet scent to it. Scent carries right over to the taste after a clean burn that gives a very hefty amount of smoke followed by the sweet yet hashy flavor. High came on right behind my eyes and stayed there, really heavy heady high that accumulates with every dab and the spot behind your eyes gets heavier and the spot grows bigger and it feels like a larger part of behind your eyes is being effected. Any pain that was in my head before the Afgoo was diminished to nothing noticeable at all within a couple dabs. I felt a pretty heavy headyness that made me want to relax but the rest of me still had the energy from just waking up. Hawaiian Fire x OG wax - Gabe was cool enough to pack me up an extra half g of this after finishing paying for my Afgoo and wrapping Steves selection, I really love how I'm treated like a first time patient every time with the budtenders, front end and what not could deffinately work on better customer service, this probably doesn't belong in my strain review portion here but every time I dab this I think ofnthe extra love and care Gabe took to not only service me and my buddy once, but was able to even accommodate my additional last minute walking out the door selection as well. Color on this wax is similar to a nice amber glass, texture is kind of hard at first but softens up, perfectly stable though. I think it even starts honeycombed? It went in my back pocket for the ride home so i forget. Super clean taste, bitter sweet hashiness with a bit more hashness. High is a bit all over, I could even feel it in my arms and legs. A bit of a couch lock, maybe it was from all the other dabbing too but I felt like I wanted to hurry up and finish this review and go back to sleep. Another dab pretty much confirmed this was a pretty heavy one effecting the body throughout and relaxing it. There was still a headyness too that made me not want to do anything but relax so that's what I did. P.s. - I hope somebody will at least take the time to update the menu that they pay for here, you guys have a menu that should be shown off not hidden. Who ever is in charge of this needs to get on it, I ask the budtenders everytime im in here and its not their job and they still say they will try to make sure it gets done, they seem to be the only ones working their butts here, and they actually really do work hard. The least the other employees that aren't serving patients can do is update a menu at least once a week, most places keep it identical to what's on the shelves and update it as something runs out as to avoid patients being upset that what they came for isn't in stock. And inkiebud, no, there is no more def star og, plenty worth checking out though! I want to try them all every time I come in.

I'd heard through BVMTV that there was def star og wax in so I headed in ASAP. Funny enough I saw BVMTV walking in to green dragon as I pull up. It's always exciting returning to green dragon, something in between an amusement park and a willy wonka style candy shop - exciting, always changing, but the only difference is that you aren't paying more for no reason. Quality of wax has never been this good and never this affordable. If ive been able to find something cheaper it's either not clean, impotent, or not bho. For the patients that require a more potent high, we can go through about $500 a week on medicine, we require more meds and higher potency which almost always means a higher price too. An 1/8th of wax lasts us 1-2 weeks and costs us $120. Green dragon has clearly made our lives much easier and finally brought some standards to the wax game. This visit was no different. I got an 1/8th and an additional gram of def star og last night and am extremely happy with it. I was a bit curious when I was shown a disappointing looking version of it but was shown another jar and it was perfect, that dehydrated goodness I absolutely would kill for. There was a few more $45 quality selections that looked great but I went straight for that def star since I was so worried about not being able to even get any since I didnt find out about it being in till just the other day. Might not seem like a big deal but that def star is amazing and goes so quick and I'm surprised it doesn't go quicker. Def star og wax - I thought putting the wax in the caps of the vials was a bit weird but got used to it and eventually found it a bit genius if the wax was perfect consistency and didn't leave half of it stuck to it. Today I was a bit disappointed to have my wax given to me in a piece of a paper bag and that inside a gram zip bag. Didn't turn out to be that big of an issue as I thought but I was so happy with what was contained inside I didn't care. The SMELL! The TASTE! The COLOR! The TEXTURE! This stuff is LOUD as hell, practically narcotic yet so medicinal. The def star doesn't knock you out quite like most waxes that knock you out do. Instead it enlightens you and then slowly, as you control it with your frequency of dabs, I'll find you'll find yourself feeling quite sleepy as the high comes down. The texture is so consistent from batch to batch it just keeps improving. The taste follows through as well, like the first time every time tasting that lemony piney fuely funk. I was dabbing like no tomorrow last night as soon as I got home and was able to still take a nice evening walk with my lady to get a can of butane for the torch since we forgot to pick one up on the way back. I was falling asleep by 8, and went to sleep at 9 and got home at like 5:30ish I think, I was medicated all the way till I went to sleep. Nothing takes me higher than this def star wax! I swear I felt like it was the first time I ever actually felt high. Thanks again green dragon and thanks everyone who reads and supports these reviews. Upon pulling into the parking lt I was immediately aware of some differences. The lot was packed forcing people to park in other lots and in spots that weren't even parking spots and cars filled with people blasting music. Maybe it was because it was Friday night but man it was packed. Waited in line for a bit but was able to pop over to the concentrate display case and take a peak since all the other patients were there for bud leaving the case un blocked. My turn was up and our budtender was Alias(?) who I'd seen almost every prior visit but never introduced to so it was nice to finally have a name to the face. I let him know we were here for wax and right away he pulled out like 3 jars for me, I pointed out a few I'd eyed and asked about a few others and he recommended the Maui wowi overall so I split an 1/8th with that and the Fire og wax. Overall though I really liked how everything has increased in quality at least from looks. Can't wait till pay day to try out a larger selection. Fire og wax - texture is that perfect dehydrated tricome goodness with no honey comb to it. Fresh og smell that smells like the center of the largest og cola ever grown, and probably organic because it was an extremely fresh untainted og freshness scent. Had a darker tan color with blonde highlights. Burns perfectly smooth with a nice fresh potent og taste. High is a nice heavy overall og high with a heaviness in the front of my dome and a warmth through out the body. Maui wowi wax - texture on this one was kind of all over the place but mostly chunks with an amazingly blonde color to it. Smell is a sweet cheesiness with a sort of hashiness thrown in as well. Burns really smooth with a nice sweet and musky flavor to it. High is really heady and functional while still packing a really nice headiness and body high. Seems like green dragon has brought most of their menu up to par with the def star og wax which is always amazing. Everything looked so fresh and just from color alone on some I'd had before I could tell potency was probably a lot higher. I brought up the issue of the lack of an updated menu and hopefully that improves because that's the only negative I have to say about green dragon and it's a fairly important thing to have and only helps the collective out and in big ways. I know plenty of people who would be willing to trek many hours to get quality AND affordable prices on their wax like green dragon provides and the quality literally improves every visit. Really outstanding to see such a great collective doing so well and making so many patients happy. See you guys soon!
