Shopped here for the 1st time recently. Nice store and good selection. I like how the staff review your purchases at the register for accuracy. I picked up two flower brands. Royal key was top notch, as expected. I got custied on the North Country Farms. Display was fresh and had a great nose, less than a month old. Was sold two 1/8ths from September....Flower was dried out and brittle, barely any nose. Came here specifically for this brand. Big let down.

Grew up in DC. Come home for the holidays. Have been a patient and worked in the industry in CA for the past decade. I've followed your story and have waited years to be able to access this store. Your shop blew me away! I picked up the Grapefruit V8, Lemon Royale #1, and Chocolope. Every strain tasted amazing and was fresh, potent, and burnt to a clean white ash. I have been to stores in many other markets across the country. Takoma Wellness carries the best flower I have seen outside of CA. In some cases. even better. The DC market reminds me alot of the good ole days in CA. Wide variety of strains and quality plus lab testing. The taxes are also incredibly reasonable and the payment options are great. I can't wait to visit again!!!!!!

So I had a bad experience here about 2.5 weeks ago. This is a follow up post regarding the quality of your medicine. The medicine i donated for when I was in was a bit questionable. It was the pre 98 bubba and the platinum og. Heres the rundown: Pre-98 bubba: Wet, chemmy smelling, and it crackles and sparks when burned. Ash is horrible color. Platinum OG: This is doused or grown with natural and harmful chemicals. Roll a j up of this in some clean raw papers and tell me how it tastes. It tastes like Lysol and pencil graphite. How do I know this? Because i have been feeling sick every time i medicated with both these strains. The smell off the ash is strong ammonia. The ash is a black rock. I finally caved from your meds and went to a very high quality spot that i had to drive to. the medicine makes me feel completely different. I don't have this weird headache or or body aches..... Shame on you. I mean no offense, but these meds are garbage and potentially harmful. I strongly recommend finding better vendors. Even then, I will never return here again.

I'll be straight up. I did not have a good experience here. First off- the bud tender was all about rushing me from the get go. " Does that complete your order?, Is that all you need" . WOW, this place was bad. Staff was short with me when i picked up a container while the bud tender walked away for a second. These guys seemed like they just hated their jobs. Atleast the bud tender was honest, and told me that was really only 3 strains worth smoking here. The OG and the Pre 98 bubba. They smell good, but have a very chemmy odor when burning. I don;t have headaches, but I can tell this is not well flushed or cured. I don;t get how this place has so many good reviews? maybe if weed maps flagged all the duplicate reviews some of these shady spots have, we could have a better assessment of this place. And then the worst part..... Once you order, they make you turn and go pay at a window. This is all happening while they weigh you out, so don't expect to see the scale. My jars seemed fine, but the whole experience was as not chill. See if you can get a joint to burn all the way down with these meds.... Go here if funds are tight. The market has gone down.quantity over quality. I will be donating more for quality meds in my continued dispensary search.

But I still see some poor quality meds when I go. The Ocean OG is phenomenal. Great flower. However.....I'm calling BS on this Chocolope OG. It's very obviously not chocolope or OG- It's some blue dream hybrid. The taste of real Chocolope just isnt there. It smells like Blue Dream when burning. Quality flower- but I need to trust in your genetics (usually 95% accurate)- this one is not.

Everyone here is great. Staff is great. The genetics are always 100% on point here. Platinum master, U2 Kush, Black Afghani are some of the best indices I have come across. I had reconstructive shoulder surgery and these strains are really effective on those cold days where I can't even move my shoulder. Within 5 minutes of consuming these indicas, I am able to move my shoulder joint comfortably. The Kingsbread! This is a serious sativa. very cerebral and very strong undertones of REAL Haze. And the best part is how their meds are cured. Smooth white ash, excellent taste to ash. Don't be daunted by their reimbursement costs. I will glady donate a tiny,tiny bit more to have meds that don't give me a nasty sinus infection or respiratory infections. Peace and love!!!!!!

Would only come here because they took CC's for awhile. The owner is way too into himself as evidenced by the decor and was a big financer for prod d. You'd think they'd have better meds for a lower price? Totally overpriced for mediocre quality. The OGs have no nose to them-no funk. The GDP is mediocre...thats a hard one to goof on...

Love everything about this collective. Excellent quality edibles, concentrates and flowers. Properly flushed and always cured right. This is a connoisseur spot!!!!!!
