Zaza spent years as slang for weed worth bragging about, but South Bay Genetics put an actual family tree behind the flex.
Origin 1: South Bay Genetics bred Zaza from Scott's OG and Gas Station Bob, an indica-dominant pairing that comes appropriately dressed in gas. Sour lemon cuts through diesel, pine, damp earth, and chemical funk, with peppery spice hanging around after the fuel burns off.
Origin 2: A second Zaza lineage is reported as Rare Dankness #1 × Blue Dream, though its breeder history is considerably murkier than South Bay's version. This one pulls the name away from straight OG gas, with Blue Dream potentially bringing sweeter fruit and haze into the darker earth and fuel of Rare Dankness #1.
Across both versions, Zaza lives up to a name that became shorthand for exotic flower: loud aroma, serious potency, and enough gas to make subtlety somebody else's problem. Reports lean happy, euphoric, and relaxed, with the South Bay version carrying the heavier reputation.
