Wintergreen Og

aka Winter Green

17 to 24 percent THC range

Wintergreen OG covers distinct genetic versions with an OG backbone and a name that promises a little cold air.

Origin 1: SnowHigh Seeds created Winter Green, also sold as Wintergreen OG, by crossing Tahoe Snow #5 with OG Purple Fire Thai. Tahoe Snow brings Tahoe OG and True Gangster Kush into the mix, while the other side combines NorCal Fire OG, Purple Thai, and Neville’s Haze F3. SnowHigh lists this version as indica-dominant, despite the sativa-heavy classification repeated in some later descriptions.

Origin 2: A separate Wintergreen OG associated with Wyeast Farms is reported in grower accounts as (SFV OG × Triangle Kush) × The Menthol. That pedigree remains less firmly documented than SnowHigh’s, but describes a materially different cross. The shared name shouldn’t turn two family trees into one.

SnowHigh’s aromatic description has plenty of bite: dank fuel, lemon-cleaner sharpness, and pine forest, with certain plants adding cardamom, toasted caramel, or menthol-like herbs. Think OG with the windows down in December. The sweet note sits underneath the sharper evergreen character, giving the profile more depth than straight mint.

Resin is another calling card of the SnowHigh line, whose parent selections were chosen for sticky flowers and vigorous growth. A frosty finish fits the name, although flower shape and color can vary across the seed population.

Reports from the smoke circle describe Wintergreen OG as euphoric and physically relaxing, sometimes with a spacey or hungry turn. Those reports don’t consistently identify the breeder, so they shouldn’t be assigned equally to both versions. SnowHigh separately describes a quick head-and-body effect. The chilly name doesn’t mean a lightweight session.

SnowHigh released Winter Green as regular photoperiod seed for indoor and outdoor cultivation. Its stated flowering window runs approximately 8–10 weeks or longer, with medium-to-tall plants, high resin production, and moderate-to-large yield potential.

The breeding work emphasizes branching and vigor, drawing on OG selections crossed with Pakistani, Thai, and Haze ancestry. Leave room for variation rather than expecting every plant to finish on the same calendar square. Regular seeds can produce both male and female plants.

Those specifications belong to SnowHigh’s version. Cultivation figures for the Wyeast-associated cross need confirmation from the actual seed line or cut.
