Sunset Octane is the descendant of Sunset Sherbet crossed with High Octane OG, reportedly bred by Seed Junky Genetics. However, it may have been separately crossed by other breeders. Although this is a true hybrid, with a balanced indica and sativa lineage, the plant's physical characteristics place it firmly in the sativa-dominant classification. Depending on the grower, this strain can easily hit high levels of THC as well as an impressive total terpene content. Speaking of terpenes, this strain is rich in limonene, beta-caryophyllene, pinene, and linalool. Although this flower may smell slightly like ammonia and creamy cheese, the flavor profile is citrus-forward with creamy, diesel undertones.
