Strawberry Truffle

Strawberry Truffle is the name of at least two exotic hybrids, one with roots in the Pacific Northwest and the other with roots in Detroit. Despite that, the two are genetic siblings: both are crosses of White Truffle with another famous parent.

Origin 1: Balanced hybrid (Elev8 Seeds)

For their Strawberry Truffle, the breeders at Elev8 Seeds crossed a beloved Strawberry Cough cutting with White Truffle to produce a balanced and fruity smoking experience. Fans describe a relaxed but clear-headed high, and a tasty flavor of citrus and berries floating overtop its funkier notes. Buds have a large and leafy appearance, with a pale dusting of trichomes and bright orange pistils.

Origin 2: Indica-dominant hybrid (Detroit Seed Company)

The slightly rarer variety of Strawberry Truffle was born from a cross of White Truffle and Red Pop at the Detroit Seed Company. This type takes after both parents with a strong indica streak, offering a relaxed and potent high. Buds have a crusty appearance with vibrant purple hues and prominent orange pistils. Since its introduction, Detroit’s Strawberry Truffle has gained additional popularity in a new self-pollinated S1 variety.
