White Truffle is a keeper cut with a filthy nose and a heavy coat of frost. Fuel, damp earth, and roasted nuts give the flower a distinctly savory character. Sour fruit comes through on the pull, followed by pepper, dry wood, and just enough sweetness to round out the funk.
The cut came out of Fresh Coast Seed Co.’s Gorilla Butter F2 line, where BeLeaf hunted, selected, and named White Truffle. Its family tree runs through Original Glue (GG4) and Peanut Butter Breath. Fresh Coast gets the breeding credit; BeLeaf found the standout.
And it’s an easy one to spot in the jar. Deep purple and green flower sits beneath dense white trichomes, with orange-brown hairs threading through the frost. The contrast is striking, but that earthy, nutty gas is what makes you go back for another smell.
Session reports lean euphoric and physically relaxing, with a tingly body buzz and a heavier finish when people keep smoking. There’s some happy head change in the mix, though regulars tend to talk up the deep relaxation. This is where the indica lean makes itself known.
White Truffle has hardware, too. Medizin’s entry took second place in Hybrid Flower at the 2021 High Times Cannabis Cup Nevada People’s Choice.
White Truffle began as a clone selected from Gorilla Butter F2. Cultivator records list approximately nine to ten weeks of indoor flowering and a mid-October outdoor harvest in suitable Northern Hemisphere conditions. Later selfed seeds and crosses can express different traits, so the original cut and its seed offspring shouldn’t be treated as interchangeable.
