Secret Weapon is classified twice. Two unrelated strains carry the name, and the files are laid out by origin below.
Origin 1: Vandal Genetics bred the Secret Weapon most carried on most menus by crossing Cheese Quake, using a 2016 Hempfest-winning cut, with White Widow. It’s a sativa-dominant hybrid, roughly 60/40. The breeder’s flavor note is sweet and sour melon. Reviewers fill in the rest: sweet, spicy pine with citrus and a cheese undertone, and a nose that turns sour and pungent once the nugs are broken up. Buds run small, dense, and rounded, olive green with thin amber hairs and a frosty white coat. Reported effects are focused, energetic, and creative, with a tingly lift up top and a body that gradually relaxes underneath. Dry mouth and dry eyes are the listed downsides.
Origin 2: In House Genetics keeps a different Secret Weapon in the vault. This one is a clone-only breeding cut listed as White Fire Alien x White Fire OG (WiFi OG) x an unresolved Pie selection. In House has used it across several projects, and it sits behind Oreoz, a Cookies and Cream x Secret Weapon cross. No type, flavor, or effect data is published for the cut itself.
So if you’re tracing Secret Weapon strain lineage, check which file you opened. Is the Secret Weapon strain indica or sativa? The Vandal cross leans sativa, and In House never published a split for its cut. Listed THC on Origin 1 lands anywhere from the high teens to the mid-20s. One is the jar on the shelf. One is the reason other jars exist. Keep that between us.
Origin 1 is the one you can grow. Vandal Genetics released it as feminized seed with a 60-day flower, and other listings put the window at 56 to 63 days, indoors or out. Seed listings describe compact, resinous buds and a plant suited to temperate or Mediterranean gardens. A selfed seed line built from the cross is also in circulation, so check which generation is on the pack.
Origin 2 isn’t on the menu for home growers. It’s a clone-only cut that In House keeps for breeding, so Secret Weapon seeds sold under this lineage are crosses made with it, not the cut itself. If that’s the side you’re chasing, shop its offspring.
