Reese’s Pieces brings blueberry to the peanut gallery. Bred by Riot Seeds, it crosses Riotberry OG, a blueberry-muffin-scented selection, with P-91. “Blueberry Muffin” is the nickname of that Riotberry OG cut, not a separate strain used in the cross.
Riot spent more than six years developing the deeply purple, blueberry-scented mother behind this pairing. The breeder’s prized “Reese’s Cups” phenotype brings chocolate and peanut character together, drawing the name closer to the nose. Other expressions keep more of the blueberry and baked-goods character. The dessert menu changes with the plant.
Smokers don’t unanimously find chocolate in the mix. Some describe peanut butter or dough, while a review of Cali Sour Pack’s flower notes a light, nutty Kush flavor with a gentle pastry finish. That flower also showed purple, pale green, pink, and cream tones beneath sticky trichomes. There’s plenty to admire before the grinder gets involved, although those colors describe a particular batch rather than every seed in the pack.
Reported effects leave room for more than a sleepy finish. The Cali Sour Pack reviewer described a pleasant head buzz and noticeable body relaxation that remained manageable enough for daytime use. That’s one firsthand account, not a promise for every cut or smoker. The appeal is a nutty, pastry-leaning session with some room left for conversation. Let the flavor fall to pieces; the afternoon doesn’t necessarily have to.
Riot Seeds’ original line is documented as regular seed for indoor and outdoor cultivation, with approximately eight to ten weeks of flowering. Growers should expect male and female plants rather than treat the original release as feminized.
