Raspberry Tart is the name of at least three hybrid strains. Some share ancestry, while at least one popular variety has a distinct genetic profile. Another is disputed, with two ancestries suggested by fans and distributors. All three are difficult to trace to an original breeder.

Origin 1: Sativa-dominant (Breeder unknown)

The most widely-documented Raspberry Tart variety is an unknown cross of Amina Berry, Amnesia Haze, and Brian Berry. This cross is sativa dominant, favored by fans for daytime smoking and situations where an extra kick of social energy is most welcome.

Origin 2: Disputed hybrid (Breeder unknown)

The disputed Raspberry Tart strain is identified as a cross of either Raspberry Kush and Cherry Pie, or Raspberry Cough and Blackberry Pie. Whatever its genetic ancestry, this variety is also known for its energetic effects, though reviews suggest a strain best suited to experienced smokers.

Origin 3: Indica-leaning (Breeder unknown)

The last well-known Raspberry Tart varietal is another Raspberry Kush hybrid, paired with 9lb Hammer to create a more relaxing indica profile. Despite that, it's reportedly sought after for its uplifting effects and focused high.
