Punto Rojo
Punto Rojo makes its point with fruit, incense, and Colombian roots. This landrace sativa is maintained in regional seed populations rather than traced to a single named parent cross. The Landrace Team preserves Tierradentro stock through open pollination, while Cannabiogen’s release combines northern and central Colombian Punto Rojo selections. Shared heritage, with room for family differences.
The Tierradentro profile moves between fruit, pine, lime, pepper, and woody incense. Other selections take their own detours: Hyp3rids’ P3 C-Line adds savory, floral, and fuel-like notes. That gives Punto Rojo more aromatic range than a single tasting note can cover, with incense doing much of the talking.
The Landrace Team describes a lively, euphoric experience that can turn laugh-filled or trippy, sometimes followed by hunger and mild physical heaviness. A grower account published by the producer likewise describes an upbeat, wakeful head high. Those accounts offer a useful glimpse, but independent feedback remains limited and cannot establish how every Punto Rojo selection will feel.
The Landrace Team maintains its Tierradentro population through open pollination using multiple male and female plants, with selection intended to retain diversity. It lists 12–16 weeks of flowering and heights of 2–3 meters under favorable native outdoor conditions. Cannabiogen’s northern and central Colombian selections take 16–22 weeks. The plants generally branch extensively, with narrow leaves and loose flowers.
Hyp3rids’ P3 C-Line was selected toward a shorter cycle and more compact structure, yet still lists around 14 weeks or longer. Hippie Cannabis Genetics’ Colombian Incense selection requires over 20 weeks. Green, purple, pink, and reddish expressions occur across documented lines. Cannabiogen also cautioned that its initial release could produce some intersex plants. This is a long-season commitment: patience belongs on the equipment list.
