Colombian Cookies

Colombian Cookies is the name of at least two popular hybrids. While one is a sativa-dominant hybrid, the other is known for its cozy couchlock and pronounced indica effects. Otherwise, the easiest way to distinguish the two is based on appearance and flavor.

Origin 1: Sativa-dominant hybrid (Unknown Breeder)

Bred from a cross of Colombian Gold and OG Cookies (though the exact variety is unclear), the older variety of Colombian Cookies grows in long, compact buds, and has a distinctive sour and spicy flavor profile with woody notes of forest nuts and pungent dank. Reviews suggest an energetic all-day strain suited to all experience levels, with a strong social lift.

Origin 2: Indica-dominant hybrid (Raw Garden)

Developed by Raw Garden especially for their resin line, the second variety of Colombian Cookies was created through a cross of Cookies and Cream, Gorilla Breath #6, and Trix. This strain has darker and less tapered buds, which produce a sweet and creamy fruit pastry flavor, and reportedly yields a relaxed body high.
