Orange Sherbert squeezes plenty of citrus into its dessert credentials. Barney’s Farm combined Orange Cream, Purple Urkle, and Cherry Pie to create this indica-dominant hybrid.
Sweet orange leads, with a tart, slightly bitter edge that recalls the peel as much as the juice. Creamy vanilla appears in the breeder’s description, while consumer reports add pepper and earth. The citrus has enough bite to keep the sweetness interesting.
Dense flowers show green and purple coloring with conspicuous orange pistils and a frosty surface. The combination gives the buds plenty of contrast without needing the name to explain what you’re looking at.
Menu regulars describe happy, giggly, and uplifting effects alongside physical relaxation. Some report a creative streak; others settle into a calmer, less ambitious mood. That range makes more sense than promising either instant couch-lock or uninterrupted energy. Bright orange flavor does not have to mean a busy afternoon.
Orange Sherbert is a feminized photoperiod variety with a breeder-listed flowering period of 60–70 days. Current specifications give indoor heights of approximately 100–110 centimeters and outdoor heights of 120–150 centimeters.
Barney’s Farm advertises indoor yields of 550–650 grams per square meter and outdoor production up to approximately 800 grams per plant. Its outdoor harvest estimate falls in the first two weeks of October in suitable Northern Hemisphere conditions.
Large colas can weigh down the side branches, so support becomes useful late in flowering. Keep airflow around developing flowers and manage humidity as they thicken. Seed-grown plants can differ in height and finishing time, even within the same release.
