Old Growth Og

17 to 23 percent THC range

Old Growth OG has roots in Humboldt’s forest-defense movement and two established cannabis family trees. Humboldt Seed Company crossed Chemdog with OG Kush, naming the resulting indica-dominant hybrid in tribute to the environmentalists protecting the region’s giant redwoods.

Fuel leads the profile, backed by pine and sharp lemon. Pepper, woody herbs, and a faint floral finish add detail to the earthy, chemical character. The name suggests a quiet walk through the trees; the aroma has considerably more exhaust.

Published accounts describe an uplifted, sometimes giggly mood alongside substantial physical relaxation. Conversation can come easily before the experience turns hazier and sleepier. Its appeal is that familiar Chem-and-OG combination: pungent flavor and a high that gives the body plenty of attention.

Old Growth OG carries a published flowering time of approximately 60 days, with an outdoor harvest window of October 1–15 under the breeder’s Northern Hemisphere conditions.

Grower accounts describe considerable flowering stretch, longer spacing between nodes, and flexible branches. Reported flowers are large and spade-shaped, with blue-green coloration, orange pistils, and abundant trichomes. Plant height and yield vary by selection and environment; dependable numerical specifications are not established.
