Muddy Waters plays dirty: gas funk, earthy depth, and enough Kush character to make the jar feel like the wrong place for a tight lid. Two breeders have used the name for different crosses, with Mosca’s release paying tribute to the blues musician himself. The namesake supplied the blues. The flower supplies the funk.

Origin 1:ChemD OG meets FAW in Mosca Seeds’ Muddy Waters. The ChemD OG mother anchors the cross with pungent gas, while FAW is generally identified as Fire Alien White, bringing The White and Fire Alien Kush ancestry into the family. ChemD OG connects the other side to Chem D and OG Kush. This is the pedigree behind Mosca’s original regular-seed release, with the emphasis squarely on Chem funk and substantial returns.

Origin 2: A different mother takes the lead in Empire Seeds Bank’s version, which pairs Fat Bastard with FAW. Diesel and Kush flavors accompany fresh pine, wood, and spice. Dense, resinous flowers and a broad, branching frame distinguish this feminized offering. It shares the name and the FAW designation with Mosca’s release, but swaps a major branch of the family tree.

Smoke room reviews describe happiness, euphoria, and physical relaxation, with some sessions turning sleepy and others retaining a livelier mental edge. Those mixed reports make more sense than treating the indica percentage as a guaranteed bedtime. Muddy Waters can put a little lift in the mood while the rest of the evening slows its tempo.

Mosca’s Muddy Waters grows indoors and outdoors, flowering in approximately 65–70 days. The original release uses regular seeds and carries a heavy-yield designation, without a fixed grams-per-plant promise. Its roughly nine-to-ten-week finish keeps the schedule straightforward.

Empire’s feminized version flowers in approximately eight to ten weeks and suits indoor, outdoor, and greenhouse cultivation. Plants reach a medium height and develop outward through short, dense branches. Resinous flowers add weight to that broad frame. Keep the canopy ventilated as the buds fill out; this version can be susceptible to mold.
