Alien Kush has two versions in orbit, both starting with Las Vegas Purple Kush but taking different Alien genetics along for the ride.
Origin 1: Alien Genetics bred Alien Kush by crossing Las Vegas Purple Kush with Alien Technology. This version keeps the lineage relatively simple, pairing the heavy Kush side of LVPK with the original Alien line.
Origin 2: The Cali Connection released its Alien Kush, also known as Purple Alien Kush, as Las Vegas Purple Kush crossed with Alien Dawg. Alien Dawg adds Chemdog D to the Alien Technology side of the family, giving this version an extra layer of Chem genetics that the Alien Genetics version doesn't have.
Across versions, Alien Kush runs through earthy Kush, pine, floral sweetness, fruit, and spice, with some expressions bringing berry and vanilla into the mix. Reports from the smoke circle lean relaxed and happy, with an uplifting, euphoric head change that can settle into a heavier body finish. The current Weedmaps profile likewise shows relaxed and happy among the leading reported effects, with tropical, berry, vanilla, earthy, and pine among reported flavors.
Most Alien Kush lines finish flowering in roughly 8–9 weeks, or about 55–65 days, with moderate to potentially heavy yields under dialed-in conditions. Cooler late-flowering temperatures can encourage deeper purple hues, while good airflow is worth prioritizing around the strain's tightly packed buds.
Because Alien Kush circulates through more than one genetic line, growers should check the breeder and seed stock rather than assuming every Alien Kush will perform identically. The Las Vegas Purple Kush × Alien Technology and Las Vegas Purple Kush × Alien Dawg versions can differ in structure, vigor, finishing time, and expression.
