Moontang puts the Chem family in a different orbit. Bodhi Seeds paired the Skunk VA cut of Chem 91 with Snow Lotus, giving that famously pungent mother a partner with some lift. The result keeps its Chem credentials loud: sour fuel, penetrating funk, and a finish with considerably more gravity than the opening suggests.

The buds taper into pointed, wizard-hat shapes, with tightly packed flowers and trichomes crowding their surfaces. Sour and sweet notes trade places around a musky, herbal core, while skunk and chemical sharpness refuse to stay in the background. There’s a tart edge to the flavor that keeps the sweetness from getting comfortable. Despite the name, this isn’t an orange-drink situation.

Sesh veterans tend to land on an upbeat, mentally active opening that gives thoughts room to roam before the physical effects catch up. Snow Lotus supplies the early lift; the Chem side takes its time collecting the landing fee. As the session develops, that initial energy gives way to a heavier, more thoroughly relaxed finish.

Moontang grows indoors and outdoors and was released as regular seeds, so growers working from seed should plan to identify males. Its growth resembles Bodhi’s Goji OG, developing substantial, tightly formed colas with distinctive pointed tops. Give those tops room to develop, and put branch support in place before their weight becomes an issue.

Keep air moving around the dense buds, especially as flowering progresses. Selective thinning can open crowded areas without removing more foliage than necessary. Use the development of the individual plant and its trichomes to guide harvest rather than forcing every seedling onto the same calendar.
