Medellin is Lemonnade and Cookies Fam Genetics putting dessert and diesel in the same room and letting them fight it out. Bred from Wedding Cake and Chemdog, this California hybrid takes its name from Medellín, Colombia, and carries enough gas to make the reference feel earned.

Wedding Cake brings the sweet dough and vanilla while Chemdog punches straight through it with fuel, earth, and chemical funk. Lemon and citrus sharpen the edges, with peppery spice riding underneath. The result lands somewhere between a bakery and a garage, which is exactly where a Cake-meets-Chem cross ought to live.

Medellin doesn't exactly show up underdressed either. The flowers tend to run chunky, sticky, and heavily frosted, with pale-to-medium green buds, bright orange pistils, and enough trichome coverage to advertise the potency before anybody checks the label.

Word around the dispensary is that Medellin comes out swinging with an energetic, euphoric cerebral lift before settling into a more relaxed groove. Higher-potency examples can push toward 30% THC, so the Cake sweetness shouldn't fool anybody into treating this like dessert after dinner. Medellin brought the cake. Chemdog brought the gas can.

Medellin generally flowers in about 8–9 weeks indoors, with outdoor plants finishing around late September to early October. Plants tend to stay manageable rather than stretching into the rafters, while producing dense, resin-heavy flowers with respectable yields under good conditions.

The nose gets considerably less polite as harvest approaches. Sweet dough and citrus give way to fuel, earth, and Chem funk, and those dense flowers benefit from solid airflow and humidity control late in bloom. Original Medellin genetics have historically been tightly held, so growers should pay attention to the provenance of any cut or seed line carrying the name.

Medellin is not available as seeds or clones.
