Gelonade

Gelonade is Connected Cannabis' citrus cannon, crossing Lemon Tree with Gelato 41 and pulling plenty of personality from both sides of the family. The strain made noise early, taking first place in the sativa category at the 2018 High Times Cannabis Cup in California and becoming one of Connected's best-known cultivars.

Lemon Tree doesn't exactly whisper in this cross. Sharp lemon peel and sweet citrus come charging out first, followed by creamy vanilla, fruit, peppery spice, and enough gas to keep Gelonade from drifting into lemonade-stand territory. Some descriptions pick up sweeter notes of berries, cookies, or maple syrup, but citrus is the calling card. The flower typically stacks dense, trichome-heavy buds with bright green coloring and orange pistils.

Those who reach for it consistently describe an energetic cerebral rush with euphoria, focus, and a talkative, creative streak. There's relaxation underneath, but Gelonade generally keeps its foot on the gas rather than letting the heavier side take over.
