Rambo isn't one strain — it's two killers. One was crafted for guerrilla grows, the other for breeder toolkits, and they couldn't be more different.

Origin 1: Rambo by T.H. Seeds

Amsterdam's T.H. Seeds dropped this composite of Jamaican Haze, Jamaican Purple, and Super Afghan in the '90s, later renaming it Lambo or Lambo OG to clear up branding collision and market confusion. It was created for outdoor growers who needed plants that could take a beating — fast-flowering, mold-resistant, and pest-hardy. Terps lean myrcene, caryophyllene, and ocimene, with a profile that swings from earthy pine and damp soil to tropical citrus. Flavor notes get quirky: amaretto and vanilla on the inhale, metallic lime on the way out. Reports describe it as a high that starts bright and cerebral before settling into easy body calm — balanced enough for an all-day session.

Origin 2: Rambo by Tarantula Genetics

Michigan breeder Tarantula Trav made his Rambo (Grape Stomper x Permafrost) a breeder's workhorse — "a stout and juicy lady," in his words. Grape Stomper (Purple Elephant x Chemdog Sour Diesel) layers grape-candy sweetness and social euphoria, while Permafrost (Trainwreck x White Widow) adds frosty resin and mellow hybrid stability. Expect myrcene, caryophyllene, and limonene in the mix, pulling grape candy into pine and herbal funk. Users report a steady, indica-leaning calm that's functional in moderation but sedating when pushed. This cut became the base for Platinum Rambo, though it's still mostly known in Michigan breeding circles.

One Rambo was bred to survive the jungle, the other to hold down the lab. Same name, different missions, both made to go the distance.

Lambo OG is a vigorous, mostly sativa hybrid that produces tall plants that are resistant to both pests and environmental hardships alike. The strain flourishes in indoor and outdoor settings, flowering in 50 to 55 days or by late September, respectively. At harvest, Lambo OG produces an average-sized yield of lime green buds with spindling orange hairs and a blanket of sugary trichomes.

Lambo OG is available as seeds. Clones may be available directly from cultivators growing this strain.
